He was recently on Fresh Breakfast Show on Metro FM, talking about his new house. He even thanked his boyfriend for his contribution in owning the home.
Khanyi Mbau’s outrage
Khanyi Mbau heard the interview and was outraged at Lasizwe’s claims. Calling it all lies.
“I‘m very upset at him for doing that; he lied – the apartment is a rental.”
“He told Fresh that he bought it and he went onto the breakfast show to speak about it and it’s not true.”
According to Khanyi, this is not the first time Lasizwe is lying.
“It’s not the first time he has pulled a stunt like this and we have warned him but he will learn and eventually grow to know that you can’t lie about something like this.”
Lasizwe spoke to DRUM and couldn’t understand why Khanyi is upset.
“Hay angizingeni (Hey, count me out), Khanyi is overreacting.”
He went ahead to state that his boyfriend bought him the house, and thus he is not paying for it.
“Marcus bought me the place, so technically I didn’t lie because it is mine but it’s just not yet under my name,” he confirmed.
Lasizwe is waiting for ownership to change from his boyfriend’s name to his. He will then have a housewarming party.

On Trending SA, Lasizwe Dambiza fought tears when he spoke about the death of his mother.
Lasizwe was one of the guests at Trending SA. He told the panel of presenters how he was getting ready for his matric dance at the hair salon. His mother suddenly collapsed.
“As the guy was cutting my hair, my mom who I could see in the mirror just collapsed. I was, ‘oh my word, my mom can’t do this, because this was not the first time she’d collapsed in front of me.’ So I ran to her, I tried to turn her body so I could give her CPR,” Lasizwe narrated.
He went on to say how his mother was going through a hard time at that time, after being diagnosed with a heart problem. She was stressed.
At the moment when Lasizwe’s mother collapsed, all he could do was pray that the emergency services would get there soon.
“I was just praying to God, saying can this people just come and resuscitate my mom and we’ll worry about the rest later. But nobody came, after 20 minutes of calling everyone…so luckily there was a dentist next door and he also tried the CPR then that was when the paramedics showed up.”
After another 20 minutes, Lasizwe said they were asked to move to another room, where he was told his mother died.
At the time of his mother’s death, Lasizwe was trying to make it into the industry.
He got his first big break in 2016 on The Coalition, which was followed by another show on MTV.
Lasizwe describes these moments as bittersweet as he has made it, although his mother is not around to witness it.
