Ntando Duma shares baby daddy drama in public

Media personality Ntando Duma decided to share her dirty linen with the public. She took to social media to talk about her baby daddy Junior De Rocka.

What started the whole drama was when she saw Junior donating computers and stationary to Wiggins secondary school, in his hometown.

“How does one have so much audacity to give back and invest so much to an entire community when they can’t give back to their own children?” Ntando tweeted.

She went on to give more dirt on the matter.

“The issue is that he knows for sure he’s always safe with me. He knows he’s always protected. He’s just comfortable.

“He knows I won’t say much cause I’m also not trying to bring attention my way, but how then are you as a woman/mother protect someone who never finds it a priority to do the same for the mother of his child and the child.

“A simple phone call to check up on his own blood is very difficult but way too easy for him to make appearances for thousands of kids and even provide for them.”

Ntando did not stop there, and went ahead to fire shots at Junior’s family.

“I don’t even know how many times I have addressed this to him and his family but all I would get in return is to be called uHlanyo [crazy].

“All I ever needed from him was/is his presence in my child’s life. Not his love back or money.”

Junior’s response

Junior did not keep quiet, and in turn also decided to share his side. He called the allegations false, malicious and very hurtful.

“I do support my child. I love her and I would do anything for her.

“Last year, I got served with court papers that I do not support my child. Imagine, which prompted me to start sending money via my bank account so it can be traceable.”

He went further to provide proof of payments made to Ntando’s bank account, saying the last payment was deposited five days ago.

“Sadly, sending money is the only thing I can do because I am not allowed to see my child,” said Junior.

Junior responds to Ntando Duma allegations

Junior has defended himself against Ntando claims saying allegations that he did not support his child were “false, malicious and very hurtful” to him and his family.

He said he the issue started last year when he was served with court papers ordering him to maintain his child, which he claimed to have done without fail since then. He claimed to have paid more than R20,000 from September last year to last week, with R3,500 being his last payment five days ago.

Read his statement below:

I hate doing this & I had always promised myself I would never empty my laundry in public. But I have to set the record straight now, I had no choice.

I may have difference with the mother of my child (Duma Ntando) But the allegations that I do not support my child are false, malicious and very hurtful to me and my family.
I DO SUPPORT MY CHILD. I LOVE HER AND I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR HER.

I visited schools, yesterday to donate; computers, install free internet, give stationary, cleaning equipment and lots of other stuff & when people (NOT EVEN MYSELF) post what I’ve done you decide to spoil it and continue with your agenda of making people hate me.
Anyways, Last year I got served with court papers that I do not support my child, imagine, which prompted me to start sending money via my bank account so it can be traceable. It was like I knew days like these were not so far. For those who have made this their business and took one side of the story and concluded: Here is PROOF that I do support my child (attached are Proof of Payments made into the mother of my child’s FNB account). From Sep 14 2018 to Jan 10 2019 I’ve paid over 20k to her acc (refer to bank statements below). My last payment was 3.5k which was 5 days ago. Isikuphi inkinga?!

Sadly, sending money is the only thing I can do because I am not allowed to see my child even though she’s sent me images of her spending time with her boyfriends WITH MY BABY just to inflict pain. Kubuhlungu n she’s winning this game of fabrication but what about the baby? Bringing different male spirits getting close to my baby is that right?
But what can I do as men we are expected to bleed inside.
To even text me and say she’ll go repay my family the money we paid for damages and will change MY BABY’s surname to YOUR MAIDEN NAME – how deep can you knife really go?!.
Ntando this is not show biz but our REAL lives & good parenting means setting aside our differences for the baby’s sake. Let’s say u win with the lies n I end up down n broke, how will that help our daughter?
Yaz ncono ngisho kuthiwe “Ngiwukhandakhulu haha” than ukuqanjelwa amanga kuthiwa ngiwu umfana ongondli.

Ntando Duma calls out Junior for failing to support their daughter

Ntando Duma and Junior De Rocka took to social media on Tuesday to air their dirty laundry, with Duma accusing the DJ of failing to support his daughter, while De Rocka accused her of lying. In a series of tweets, Duma said it was time she exposed the father of her child as she had endured enough and was tired of always protecting him and defending him against her loved ones.

“Not only has he failed his daughter and failed himself as a father but disappointed me cause I believed in him so much,” she claimed.

Duma accused De Rocka of failing to check up on his daughter when he was always available for for other kids and even provided for them. She said even though she did not want his money, she despised that he made it clear to her he just did not want to support his child.

The DJ visited schools on Monday to donate computers, stationery and cleaning equipment, among other things, but did not post pictures on social media. This act of kindness seems to be what riled Duma, as she claimed he always availed himself for children other than his own.

“All I ever needed from him was/is his presence in my child’s life. Not his love back or even money. I wanted my baby to grow up knowing who her father is and that honestly just it. I would even try and take her to visit her family that but the issue will be I now again out of all the things that I already do for the baby I have to pay for flights too for his own family to see her?! Angikho Dizzy. I stopped and it never happened again cause he’s also not willing to do it,” she claimed

Duma told the publication: “There is no party that I follow. I’m not involved in politics. I’ve never voted but I am going to register to vote for these coming elections. I will be voting for the first time this year but that does not mean I will vote for the EFF just because I was seen wearing the party’s doek.”

Speaking about motherhood early in the year, she talked of just how much she enjoys it.

“This is like the best thing that has ever happened to me last year. It’s such a beautiful feeling to be a mom, but I, also do not feel like a mom I think I’m such a cool mom, in a way that I can’t feel it. I feel like my baby is my newest best friend, she is such a smart kid, we watch TV together and I get to learn new things through being a mom, I feel more responsible cause I’m a mom now. There are certain things that I can’t do anymore because I’m a mom. I’m maturing now, I’m very grown now and I love it…it’s been such an incredible journey.”

Ntando Duma defends her choice of having an instagram account for her daughter

TV and radio personality Ntando Duma had defended her decision to open social media accounts in her seven-month-old daughter’s name, claiming that it allowed her daughter to get gigs that would pay for her education in the future.

Ntando opened a social media account for her daughter, Sbahle, when she was just two weeks pregnant but was criticised for doing so.

“I opened the Instagram account for business stuff. She actually gets paid every month. She is an ambassador for a nappy brand, so she posts stuff about the brand and gets paid for it. I am trying to get more deals for her so she can get more money.”

Sbahle has also been making money through modelling gigs and was invited to appear at SA Fashion Week when she was only three-months-old.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE late last month, Ntando said she was launching a lingerie range in her daughter’s name, with profits from the line going into a fund for her daughter.

She revealed that the money from all ventures in Sbahle’s name would go to paying for her daughter’s schooling.

“My daughter has become the most important thing in my life. Everything I do, I do for her.”

Ntando Duma bags new TV show

Ntando Duma is soaring higher with her return to TV on her eight episode music show on MTV Base.

The show, whose title is Gqom Nation, premiered last Friday at 6pm.

Ntando, a former Craz-e presenter, insists that her new TV show should not be seen as her TV comeback.

“I never left. I first gained popularity in the industry on Craz-e, so I went back to basics with this show,” she says.

“I came out of my shell more with this one, because doing a children’s show I was not allowed to do and say certain things.

“Right now, I’m just free to say anything.

Details

“On the show we not only focus on the forefront of gqom. We take you back to where it originated before Distruction Boyz emerged.

“Profiling all the people making gqom, the ones you know and the ones you don’t know.”

Gqom Anthem

Late last year, Duma, with Babes Wodumo and DJ Mampintsha, released gqom anthem, Jiva Phez’kombhede.

“I’m not venturing into music. It was not part of my plans. It was just a one-time thing.

“I had come up with this thing on social media, alongside my sister, where I’d dance on my bed chanting ‘jiva phez kombhede’,” she says.

“So, Babes saw it and said ‘let’s do a song together’ and I wanted to make extra money on the side with December bookings.”

Duma then ventured into radio. In September, she joined digital online radio Touch HD.

Her show Black Twitter Unleashed broadcasts between 12pm and 1pm weekdays. She reveals that she will soon be moving to prime time.

“I’m going to reveal everything soon,” she says.

“It has always been part of my plans to do radio, but it came earlier than I expected in my career.

“I thought I sounded terrible the first time I did it, but people seemed to like it.”

Duma, would love to be on Isibaya.

“I would love to be on Isibaya next.

“I would love to shoot a big movie too.

“I was supposed to have a role in Tjovitjo [SABC1 drama], but I fell pregnant and couldn’t do it anymore,” she says.

Duma has a seven month old daughter, Sbahle. She is no longer together with her baby daddy radio DJ Junior De Rocka.

“I’m single right now. Junior and I are just co-parenting really well.

“I love the fact that he’s growing as a man and loves his daughter,” she says

“He’s a good father. He takes good care of Sbahle and me too.

“He’s still young and sometimes he makes a lot of mistakes,” she says.

“The biggest blessing for me last year was becoming a mom.

“Yes, I had to sacrifice some other things, but I’d do it again. I actually want another child already.

“She [Sbahle] is already a model. She is ambassador for a nappy brand.”

Duma plans to release her own lingerie and kids’ clothing line later this year.

Ntando Duma slams engagement speculation

Ntando Duma has come out strongly to shut down suggestions of her rekindled romance with her baby daddy, Junior De Rocka.

On Sunday, Ntando posted a picture showing off a sparkling ring on her engagement finger. This was on Instagram.

Rumours then started circulating that she was engaged.

Shutting down any suggestion of an engagement, Ntando said: “It is 2018. People must mind their own business and not get involved in mine. I am tired of it and closed the door on that. That is all I am going to say.”

Relationship

Ntando and Junior were one of the most talked about celebrity couples. However, just before the birth of their daughter last year, they stopped posting pictures together.

This raised speculation of a possible split. The two have never confirmed it.
