Prince Kaybee announces album release date

Well for all of you Prince Kaybee fans, the wait is over for the release of his new Album.

The artist took to social media to announce that he has pushed the release of his album to an earlier date.

The album will be released nationwide on Friday, the 8th of March, early than was initially anticipated.

“No album is being pushed back… In fact, let me speed it up A WEEK EARLIER for the true fans,” he said as he announced a pre-order date for the album.

The album is already available for pre-order.

He has also dropped the artwork for what will be his third studio album as well as Fetch Your Life t-shirts which are now available for purchase.

Prince Kaybee confirms relationship with Brown Mbombo

Prince Kaybee and Brown Mbomo have gone public with their relationship.

Rumours of a love affair between the two have been doing the rounds for a while now, but neither of them had neither confirmed nor denied anything.

But this past week, Prince put us out of our misery with one simple tweet.

The DJ and producer posted a series of pictures and in two of them, he was all cosy with the very private, Brown.

Prince captioned the pictures with nothing but a red heart.

Mthokozisi Ndaba on working with Prince Kaybee

After posting an RnB version of the artist’s hit song Banomoya on his Instagram page, Mthokozisi seems to have captured Prince Kaybee attention.

Prince Kaybee asked to work with him on remixing the song after seeing the post.

In an Interview with the Daily Sun, this is what he had to say about the Opportunity.

“It has always been my dream to work with him. God quickly answered my prayers,”

He said he did a cover of the song and posted it along with the video clip on his Instagram page. “I got carried away and just rearranged and remixed the song without his permission.

“ I then wrote: ‘Banomoya RnB cover coming soon. Shall I?’ My intention was to see how fans would react to it.”

He was surprised when it caught Prince Kaybee’s attention.“A miracle happened. He saw it on Sunday and sent me a message to fly to Joburg.

“He wanted us to record the RnB version and use it as an intro to his upcoming album,” Mthokozisi said.

By Monday afternoon, the RnB track was done and dusted. The duo posted clips, with Prince Kaybee saying: “Shout out to Mthokozisi. Something huge is coming. I called this guy yesterday and he was here today.”

Mthokozisi said: “Working with him was amazing. I thank Prince Kaybee for believing in me.”

Prince Kaybee Responds To Tribalism Claims Over His Winning Song

Prince Kaybee has come out to defend his song. This is after a tribalism debate erupted in regard to him winning the Ukhozi FM Song of the Year title.

His hit single Banomoya, thus won the award ahead of King Monada’s Malwedhe. 

After his win, tweeps accused the award’s judges of tribalism, claiming that no Limpopo artist would be allowed to win at a Zulu radio station.

Music boss Arthur Mafokate also joined the debate, calling for an end to tribalism.

Prince Kaybee then squashed any suggestions of favoritism and thus took to Twitter to address his fans on the win.

In his defense therefore, he said he was not Zulu, and that there were no publicity stunts to promote the song.

He congratulated King Monada, and still defended his right to win the award.

Prince Kaybee Buys His Mother A Car

Prince Kaybee took to Instagram to announce that he had bought his mother brand new car.

‪”Sho Oulady, here’s an early Christmas present to take you to the mall. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there and give you your gift personally but you know I got you!‬ The part where you cry breaks me because not so long ago you were starving yourself so that I can eat,” he wrote.

Kaybee’s mother looks emotional, as she sheds tears.

Prince Kaybee gifts his Mum a Benz

Prince Kaybee took to social media to share the heart-warming moment of him gifting his Mum a new car.

Posting a photo of his Mum next to the new car, he wrote a heartfelt message saying;

“Sho Oulady, here an early Christmas present to take you to the mall and back. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there and give you your gift personally but you know I got you! The part where you cry breaks me because not so long ago you were starving yourself so that I can eat. And to you my fans, you made it all possible, so on behalf of my Mum, THANK YOU.

Prince Kaybee expresses his disappointment on missing out on the Global Citizen Festival

Prince Kaybee couldn’t help but feel disappointed by his omission from the list of performers.

He took to Twitter to express his disappointment on not being in the lineup.

“I watched the GlobalCitizen Concert and not being part of it means I’ve let myself down this year. I lost, I didn’t do enough,” he said on social media.

“But I’m too competitive to sit back, let me work harder next year. Shout out to artists that had 2018 on lock. Salute.”

Listen: Prince Kaybee releases touching tribute to HHP

Prince Kaybee has released a touching tribute song to HHP. This song was supposed to feature HHP, and was released on Tuesday after his memorial service.

It is an instrumental song that almost feels incomplete without vocals. It is however quite touching.

Prince says he had made the beat and sent it to HHP just after he had heard him (HHP), drop a freestyle beat.

“HHP has always been a personal favourite of mine. No one in hip-hop can do the things he did. I called him up and he had no problems with jumping on the track. I sent him the beat to jump on and he said he was working on it. We were planning for him to come down to Durban to record but he was always traveling.”

Prince Kaybee left shaken by impostor’s moves

An impostor pretending to be Prince Kaybee has left him shaken.

He took to social media to post a conversation between his impostor and someone in East London.

In the conversation‚ “Prince Kaybee” asks the man if they could meet up and “organise good chicks”. He also claims that “money is not a problem”.

“What worries me more about this is that this person can do even worse things like human trafficking. You’d think you going to meet Prince Kaybee and find out it’s the end of your life.,” he wrote.

He went ahead to warn people against falling into such scams.

Prince Kaybee’s manager Bangi Msikinya said they wanted to take action against the person but could not identify the imposter.

“The person changed their name and WhatsApp profile picture to Prince Kaybee so we cannot see their number. A picture (of the conversation) was posted to Facebook and so we want to make everyone aware that it is not Prince Kaybee and people must be careful.”

Prince Kaybee escapes Kimberley protests unharmed

Prince Kaybee had to have his show put on hold this past weekend when clashes rose between protestors and the police.

Chaos thus erupted on his show at Motswako Car Wash & Chesa Nyama.

“Protestors were running past the car wash while Kaybee was performing. The police  shot rubber bullets and tear gas in the air and was moving towards the venue. So there was chaos,” said the venue’s owner.

Prince Kaybee was immediately taken off the stage, and thankfully, there was no damage to any cars or property.

“He was not hurt. He was just a bit shaken but fine. We secured the whole area.”

Prince Kaybee has not commented on the matter. He however took to Instagram to thank his team for helping him.

Protestors have been calling for officials from the Sol Plaatje municipality to step down and for an end to electricity tariff increases.

“There have been disruptions in some areas such as Galeshewe where residents were not allowed to come out of the area but there have been no major incidents reported‚” Police spokesperson Colonel Mashay Gamieldien.

Prince Kaybee lands major endorsement with Victoria Falls

Prince Kaybee has earned himself a contract that will see him travel across countries each year.

He announced the major endorsement deal on his social media, stating that he has signed a 3 year contract with Victoria Falls Zimbabwe.

“From now, call me #MrVictoriaFalls , Why?‬ ‪Well me and the team have just signed a 3 year contract with #VictoriaFallsZimbabwe NYE. 31st December every year I will be crossing over. This is one of the biggest stages in Africa, THANK YOU. See you at the Victoria Falls ✊?‬” he wrote.

This deal will see Kaybee perform at Victoria Falls on the 31st December every year.

Prince Kaybee speaks on being an absentee father

Prince Kaybee is inspiring people on taking responsibility for their actions.

He made headlines in February after it was reported he had not been paying adequate maintenance for a child he fathered.

Kaybee has finally spoken about the matter and has taken full responsibility for it.

“I wanna take this ‘Best Male’ award beyond my music. Wanting to be a best male in my life. I take full responsibility for not handling the papgeld matter correctly. It led to the baby mama going public and everything went South,” he wrote on Twitter.

The matter isnow fixed and he is now co-parenting with his baby mama.

“I have since fixed matters with the mother of my child. We now have a healthy co-parenting relationship and all parties are at peace. This is not something I expect to be congratulated for. But since I won Best Male for my music I would like to expand the meaning.

“In recent news we have seen tons of reports on how we as men let women down. The most worrying being the violence against women followed by absent fathers. As a man who has walked this path my own way through recent papgeld headlines, I would like to challenge other men to become best males in their society, become best males 24 hours every day. It’s a full time job being a dad, a husband or a boyfriend.”

Kaybee now wants to help fight the stigma surrounding men.

Musician Prince Kaybee’s love life has not been without controversy.

He was once in the headlones for unpaid child support.

However, Kaybee has risen beyond that and has started dating again.

He made a post of a lady on Twitter, and fans asked him if that was his girlfriend. Kaybee did not deny it.
