Skolopad, whose real name is     Nonhlanhla Qwabe, now wants to be known as Queen Star to usher in the New Year and a whole new image for herself.

She made the announcement on Social Media that she now wants to be called Queen Star, completely putting to rest the Skolopad we all know.

Skolopad has broken off her engagement from her fiance.

Taking to social media, she had the following to say.

“I regretted being engaged I even quit b4 I even stayed with him he talks to me like m his child n he even remaindered me m stucked with him no 1 will love me cos m just a scrap with scars. [sic]”

She went on to say: “I can’t stay with that thing, mina nje! He even talks about the road accident fund money that I’m not aware of.

“He said I should lie and say my right hand is not working so that we get more money.”

Skolopad had announced her engagement in September 2018, saying they had met that same year at an event she was performing at. they had been dating for six months before he proposed.

Skolopad recently surprised her 18-year-old daughter with a car as an early Christmas gift and in celebration of making it to grade 12.

Her daughter was completely surprised when she arrived at the dealership and was handed a set of car keys for her new wheels.

She took to Instagram to showcase her young one reaction to her gift simply captioning it; Buying her a Christmas gift and she made it to grade12

Skolopad surprised her teenage daughter by buying her a Kia Picanto worth a little over R100000 for passing grade 11.

She felt her daughter deserved the car after going through a lot this year.

“It’s been such a tough year for us but for my daughter particularly. She did well at school despite everything and that’s why I felt she deserved something. Losing her dad and almost losing me, among other things. I didn’t think she would do well at school and I would have understood but she surprised me.”

Skolopad did not go into details, but revealed that her daughter had lost her biological father. When she tought of all the hardships they endured this year, and thus felt proud of her daughter’s strength.

Her daughter Amzozo understood that she was lucky and promised to work hard to make her mother proud.

“God is great. I am so happy and grateful for everything that he does for my family and that he made a way for my mother to do this for me. It’s an overwhelming feeling of joy that I have every time I look at the car and I will make my mother proud at school next year.”

Just last month, Skolopad was involved in a road accident that left her in hospital for a while. The car she was driving, a write-off.

Skolopad sustained injuries on the face and legs, and for support, she uses crutches to get around.

She is however doing well and even took to social media to thank her fans and followers.

Skolopad wrote: “Your love and support kept me going.”

Skolopad has been discharged from hospital after being admitted following a car accident.

Speaking to The Juice after being discharged, Skolopad said: “Emotionally I’m not okay, but physically I am okay with painkillers.”

Skolopad says the scars she attained during the car accident has made her loose her confidence.

Taking to twitter she asked her fans on products she could use to make the scars vanish.

Guys help me pls… I need something that will help me to remove scars or make them look less than they are… Iv lost my confidence how am i gng to wear pls help

Skolopad has finally been discharged from hospital following admission after a car accident.

After her accident, she said just how much she was happy to be alive.

“I am happy to be alive.”

She talked of how her fiance had taken the accident very hard, but has been very supportive.

After her discharge, Skolopad was evidently happy saying: “Emotionally I’m not okay, but physically I am okay with painkillers.”

She thus took to social media to share her excitement at going home.

Skolopad was in thigh high stiletto boots.

In an Exclusive interview with the Drum Skolopad shared images from her accident.

Skolopad recently talked about being involved in accident  and how she was grateful to be alive after that ordeal.

Skolopad who about to get married to her Fiancee revealed that she was with her daughters during the accident,though they were not harmed.

Skolopad has revealed how lucky she is to be alive after a horrific car accident. She lost control of the car she was driving in Qwa-Qwa.

“I was with my daughter and two other people in the car. Both my legs were injured, and my car is beyond repair,” she said.

Skolopad was admitted at Mediclinic Hoogland in Bethlehem on Saturday.

“I was in ICU but I was moved to a normal ward on Monday,” Skolopad said.

“My fiancé has come to see me. He joked that this accident has scarred my beautiful legs because I have an open wound on my left leg.”

In a recent interview with Drum Skolopad revealed that she was involved in an accident.

She stated  that she lost control of her car while driving to Qwa-Qwa.

“I was with my daughter and two other people in the car. Both my legs were injured, and my car is beyond repair,” she said.

“I was in ICU but I was moved to a normal ward on Monday,” Skolopad told DRUM.

“My fiancé has come to see me. He joked that this accident has scarred my beautiful legs because I have an open wound on my left leg.”

Her daughters however did not sustain any serious injuries.

Skolopad had revealed  is seeking professional help after taking a handful of pills in attempt to “rest and sleep” on Monday.

In an interview with TshisaLIVE Skolopad said she was receiving counselling and insisted that the incident was not a suicide attempt. She said she took the pills because she wanted to “rest for a long time”

She said that after the argument with her colleague‚ her mind went into overdrive and she decided to take “a couple of pills” so she could just sleep.

“When I got home‚ I took some pills. Mostly anti-anxiety pills but pills that I had. It’s pills I usually take when I am angry and need to calm down‚ so I took a couple of them.”

I feel like I need to rest for a long time… even if it’s forever. Yes. I have wanted to die many times before. I have attempted to jump off the hospital roof top. I just didn’t make it. This time I just wanted to rest.”

Skolopad explained that she was trying to move up the ranks in her nursing career but no doors were opening.

She said the disagreement with a fellow matron was the last straw for her.

“I was really‚ really hurt. I cried a lot in their presence but they told me to rather go back to the ward and work or go home so I could calm down. I asked them to resign because I feel like nothing I ever ask for at work is ever approved. I have asked for so many things‚ things that really matter and have merit where my job is concerned but I am constantly shot down or made empty promises. What have I done wrong as a nurse? Nothing.”

Skolopad said she was seeking professional help for her mental health and constant feelings of hopelessness by talking to a therapist.
