Terry Pheto took to social media to speak about just how much she misses her father. This was in remembrance of the second anniversary of his death.

Many times, she keeps her life private and so many were surprised when she tweeted about her late father. She has managed to keep her private life private, without confirming or denying any rumor mills.

Terry Pheto has been announced as the new lead actress in international feature film, Faces. 

The movie features high profile actors Shingai Shoniwa, Aki Omoshaybi, Suzette Llewellyn and Matthieu Charneau.

“I don’t take it for granted what a privilege it is to grow my global footprint with such amazing storytellers.

“Faces is a movie that addresses universal issues that will resonate with all,” she shared.

Faces is therefore set to premiere on the 22nd of July, 2018.

Terry Pheto is set to attend the French Open in Paris as a guest of Longines Watch Co.

She announced this on social media writing: “I’m so honored and thrilled to be attending the French Open at Ronald Garros with Longines family. Looking forward to witnessing brilliant performances and Longines’ elegant hospitality.”

The prestigious French Open, also called Roland-Garros, is a major tennis tournament held over two weeks at the Stade Roland-Garros in Paris, France.

Terry Pheto recently bagged a Film Award at the 6th annual Mbokodo Awards. The awards were held in Cape Town.

Terry, born Moitheri Pheto, has achieved a lot to make it big in the film industry.

The Mbokodo Awards seek to recognise women who have shown leadership, fostered growth and made efforts to strengthen the arts. The awards consolidate the incredible work done by South African women. This is through honouring their immense contribution in their respective fields.

Process

Terry is the winner of the Film Category in the awards. She was chosen after extensive consultation with leading players within the arts, culture and heritage sector. Thorough research is also usually conducted.

Receiving the award, Terry quoted Gerard C Eakedale’s words: “Recognition is the greatest motivator.”
