Wedding proposal happens as The Wedding Bashers is launched

The Wedding Bashers crew could not think of a better opportunity to launch another season of the show, than at a proposal.

Dwayne Marx wanted to propose to his girlfriend, and therefore reached out to the crew for help.

He got a big billboard at the corner of William Nicol Road and Sandton Drive to pop the question.

The billboard read: “Tayla Henshall, will you marry me?” with #TaylaSayYes written below it.

Tayla luckily said yes.

After she said yes, the billboard was replaced with an ad for The Wedding Bashers.

The Wedding Bashers has thus returned for a second season, and will be on air from 14 October at 1800hrs.

‘The Wedding Bashers’ renewed for season 2

The Wedding Bashers has been renewed for a second season. It is now calling for all those planning to get married in 2018, to enter.

Denise Zimba, Siba Mtongana, Cindy Nell-Roberts and Zavion Kotze are all likely to return as commentators, after a job well done in the first season.

The Wedding Bashers sees the four hosts show up at weddings across South Africa, and judge various aspects of it. It showcases the creativity of South Africans tying the knot.

The first season of The Wedding Bashers  saw its ratings gain huge success.

Open for entries

People who are interested in having their weddings featured can enter and stand a chance of winning prizes and appearing on the show.
