It has been a year since Unathi summited Mt Kilimanjaro.

She took to social media to reveal how the journey was sharing photos and videos of the expedition.

“A year ago TODAY I summited Mt Kilimanjaro. The man who lead our 75 man group HONEST is no longer with us but is at his resting place with uGugu. Guru whom he carried down the very same mountain the year prior. Today his empire is run by his incredible wife in his honour. I summited this enormous mountain despite everything I was going through THEN, [sic]” she captioned an Instagram post.

Unathi is making sure to celebrate her 4oth birthday to the maximum.

Straight out of her epic vacation in Zanzibar she made sure to turn up with her friends .

She posted a series of Instagram post that showcased her having the time of her life in with her friends.

They say life begins at 40. It is my born day today. 40 years ago I was born to Sakhiwo no Nondwe who conceived me out of love. My uncle Ndabazoxolo Nkayi named me Unathi. I was the only grandchild my grandfather,Themba, named. To which he gave me the name, Fundiswa, which I use as my second name. 
My grandfather was/is Themba, whose father was Dyonashe, the son of Singqe?? I know I am the answer to my forefathers dreams and prayers and I hold that with high regard. I am the mother of Sinako and Imbo Msengana who too were conceived in love with the man who remains the love of my life. I am sister to my incredible sisters, cousin-niece-aunt-granddaughter to my solid fam and friend to my absolutely crazy friends. 
To ALL of you thank you for your love. To those I love, have met, never have met and possibly never will. Your love has made me the woman I am today. Thank you for your love.LOVE is a doing word❤️,She captioned one of the photos

She has taken time off her busy schedule to enjoy her time off in Zanzibar.

Unathi who recently turned 40 looked radiant as she showcased her amaizing body.

Taking to Instagram she shared a string of amaizing bikini photos showing of her amaizing holiday.

Unathi shows off her toned body  on the October cover of Women’s Health SA.

The Magazine described Unathi as being in her best shape at 40 years old.

My body is the best it’s ever looked… I want other women to understand that you can be as happy as you want to be. We can have kids and get it all back.”,Unathi told the magazine.

She is looking glam on the cover in a white sports bra and black tights.

In the issue, Unathi talks about soon turning 40 and like they say life begins at 40, for her, she has never felt better.

Unathi shared her heartfelt message to her little girl Imbo on Instagram page, and we have to admit, it had us tilting our heads, clutching our pearls, and saying “Aww!”.

“SEVEN years ago today I gave birth to my baby girl. The day my best friend was born. This day means LOVE to me… that’s why I named her Imboyothando! THE ORIGINS OF LOVE!!!!” Unathi wrote next to a close-up snap of her giving her little girl a kiss on the cheek

It all began after Unathi shared her home remedy to get rid of stretch marks, on Instagram.

“I thought let me share one last time so we can spread some goodness! Olive oil, methylated spirit (yes the purple one we ALL grew up with) and aqueous cream are the ingredients I used. I mixed them together and deeply moisturised my skin twice a day.”

Many of Unathi’s followers thanked her for the tip. However, one accused her of having plastic surgery.

“Plastic surgery baby…”

Unathi made a major clap back.

“Even your deepest hardest prayers will never turn my hard work into plastic surgery. Here they are denying what ugranny taught us and saying I have done plastic surgery. But I guess it’s better than the other dumb ones who say I wear makeup on my body to hide them.”

A new talk show is on the way and Unathi Msegana will be one of the hosts.

The singer made the announcement on Instagram on Saturday, saying that she had to keep the news a secret for a few months.

“A new TV channel 157. A new talk show. A secret we have had to keep for months. We are the hosts of a daily new talk show called SHOW ME LOVE because every good story has heart, (sic)” Unathi wrote.

The former radio host will be sharing the panel on the new show with Abigail Visagie, Nontobeko Sibisi and Kgomotso Moeketsi.

By the looks of things, Unathi Msengana’s new music video is going to be super-intimate!

The South African songstress and Idols judge took to Instagram to give fans a sexy sneak peek of her upcoming music video for Nguwe, the first single from her latest album Brave, True and Strong.

“Intimacy never hurt nobody,” she captioned a pic of herself in a frothy bubble bath.

Another snap showed her lounging in bed in a lacy green nightgown, which she captioned: “Issa sensual video Nguwe behind the scenes.”
