Zahara and Ian “planning to wed soon”

Loliwe hit maker Zahara and her boyfriend Ian are in it for the long haul and plan to make things official soon.

The couple confirmed they were dating in June this year, a few months after Zahara and her then fiance Amaza Ntshanga called things off. They are madly in love, and in Ian’s words, couldn’t be happier.

“Zahara is an incredible woman. She inspires me and I have learned a lot from her. She has helped me deal with so much in my life and I really appreciate all the support I get from her,” he said.

From the moment he and Zahara met, he was sure that she as the right woman for him, and he wanted to build a future with her. Ian added. They met at a braai and felt an instant connection, striking up a friendship and deciding to date shortly after.

“I feel at peace with her. I see my future with her. I told her family that the next time they see me I will bring cows (to pay lobola) and I am serious about that. We are working towards that and it will be soon,” he added.

Through communication, Zahara’s private life has never affected Ian because they are completely open with each other.

“The secret to our relationship is communication. We speak about everything and I often tell her that there must be something special about her to always be spoken about. She is strong and focused so I am never worried about her,” Ian added.

Ian is 23 years old, five years younger than Zahara, but to Zahara age doesn’t make a difference as he is mature.
