Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone and Naseeb Abdul Juma popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, are undoubtedly the most successful musicians in East Africa.

Their success in music is also reflected in the expensive lifestyles they lead – the two superstars boast of expensive vehicles and privately owned mansions.

Jose lives in a swanky suburb of Muyenga in Kampala; the storied house has a swimming pool, two sitting rooms and dining areas; servant quarters and several bedrooms.

The ‘Tubonge’ hit maker also owns property in US, Rwanda and Tanzania.

“Those who wish to know how rich I am can go to the US embassy and secure visas then go right ahead and inquire about my property there. They can also go to Rwanda and Tanzania where I have homes,”Jose Chameleone by New Vision in 2013 when he was asked how rich he was.

But back to Ali Kiba and their unending beef. After the interview which has since gone viral someone decided to go into the archives and bring out all the shots Diamond has ever fired at Ali Kiba. And trust me they are absolutely lethal.

This why no musician will beat Diamond anytime soon! After Ne-Yo, Diamond jumps into another collabo with Grammy winner Mohombi and Congolese Singer Lumino

Just a month ago, Diamond dropped ‘Marry You’ featuring American crooner Ne-Yo. The song is topping charts across the world.

But even before Diamond’s fans could get enough of ‘Marry Me’, the Tanzanian superstar has jumped into another collaboration with Grammy awards winner Mohomobi and Congolese artist Lumino in a song titled ‘Rockonolo’.

The collabo was born out of a brief meeting between 3 artists who bumped into each other at the MAMA 2016 which was held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Congolese singer who is signed to Mohombi’s record label, attended the MAMAS 2016 with the ‘Bumpy Ride’ hit maker who also has Congolese roots. At the event, the two met Diamond Platnumz and Franko and both artists love his music. The quartet then decided to do a Remix version of Lumino’s ‘Rockonolo’ single.

The collabo puts Diamond on the roadmap to conquering international market; Baba Tifaah has also carved a name for himself in the continent – he has bagged collabos with the best in the continent including P Square and Davido.

The new project is part of Mohomobi’s initiative to create artist platform #AfricaUnited, with the goal to build bridges between African artists in form of collaboration and mutual support.

The process was smooth as Diamond even had time to pose with TRA officials after they grilled him.

“Mapema leo nilipo report Makao Makuu ya TRA baada ya kuitwa ili kuelezea ni namana gani nayapata Mapato yangu na namna gani nalipa kodi ya serikali….” Diamond captioned a photo he took with TRA officials.

Prezzo introduces his tough-looking bodyguard of 14 years but he not as scary as Diamond’s HIGHLY trained guard Mwarabu Fighter (Photos)

Only a handful of celebrities in East Africa can afford bodyguards; CMB Prezzo and Diamond Platnumz are among the few.

Prezzo has been caught in endless altercations that sometimes got physical, but the rapper has always relied on his bodyguard to pull him out of trouble and keep him safe.

The ‘My City My Town’ rapper introduced his bodyguard, Oti Danger, who has been his guardian angel for 14 long years.

“My brother Oti Danger has been with me since the beginning of my musical career as my bodyguard. 14 yrs strong & counting. God bless u bro,” Prezzo praised his bodyguard.

But if you think Prezzo’s bodyguard is tough, wait until you meet Mwarabu Fighter – Diamond Platnumz’s HIGHLY trained bodyguard.

Mwarabu whose real name is Seleman Mirundi is highly trained in martial arts and combat skills; the kind of exercises he does are what you see in Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Jean-Claude Van Damme’s movies.
