Diamond Platnumz and Jose Chameleone’s palatial mansions prove there are no rich musicians in Kenya (Photos)

Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone and Naseeb Abdul Juma popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, are undoubtedly the most successful musicians in East Africa.

Their success in music is also reflected in the expensive lifestyles they lead – the two superstars boast of expensive vehicles and privately owned mansions.

Jose lives in a swanky suburb of Muyenga in Kampala; the storied house has a swimming pool, two sitting rooms and dining areas; servant quarters and several bedrooms.

The ‘Tubonge’ hit maker also owns property in US, Rwanda and Tanzania.

“Those who wish to know how rich I am can go to the US embassy and secure visas then go right ahead and inquire about my property there. They can also go to Rwanda and Tanzania where I have homes,”Jose Chameleone by New Vision in 2013 when he was asked how rich he was.

Diamond’s State House has a color changing swimming pool, gym, a Kes 3.5 million gold-plated bathroom among other luxuries.

This is why Jose Chameleon’s eldest son is causing a stir online

Jose Chameleon’s son, Abba Marcus, aka T-rex is slowly following into his dad’s foot-steps and at his young age, the rapper is now giving many a run for their money. He is not only gifted in dropping bars but is also a good swimmer who is pretty known in Africa.

He dropped his first song Game Over which was recorded in his father’s studio in 2015 and later released a video that did well on YouTube. With a single song he managed to win a lot of fans in Uganda or should I say East Africa.

Jose Chameleon has been on the forefront helping his son with his career and so far things are looking up. The young singer has also been performing at hits dad’s concerts and daytime events giving him more exposure to have a good idea of how the business works and a good contact base from a young age, and T-rex Smith is certainly taking advantage of it.

Abba Marcus aka T-rex rise in popularity seems to indicate that he is destined for stardom levels similar to his father’s. As Jose Chameleon gets older, he’s going to need someone to replace him in the younger generation and what better person than his son?

If he continues like this, T-rex is certainly has the talent and the capability, so only time will tell what he ultimately does with it.

Jose Chameleone shares photo of teenage daughter for the first time and the internet goes haywire. She’s so hot!

What Jose Chameleone lucks in good looks, he surely compensates in good genes, equally good music and the hot Caucasian women he gets involved with.

Like have you seen his hot wife Daniella?

And it seems she’s not the only one as evidenced by what she shared recently. It appears there was someone else before Daniella who was equally hot and together they managed to bring forth a daughter whom Jose Chameleone loves very much and whom I can guarantee will drive team mafisi in sane.

For the first he celebrated her and proclaimed his legacy was intact as he has managed to bring forth enough daughters and sons into this world. Just how many does he have anyway?

And when he did, the internet went crazy.

Here is the post he made on his instagram:

This is what Jose Chameleone did that has got all tongues wagging

Get Jose Chameleone on a track and you can be rest assured that’s an instant hit!

Just recently he did a collabo with Elani which blew up the roof and it seems he’s back again with a brand new track.

Chameleone just dropped the music video for his brand new track “Sweet Banana” and he’s done nothing short of taking us to paradise on the track.

The song came out in December but it’s only in January that we’ve been treated to the video. Check it out below and let us know what you think.

I personally think the video is just out of this world:

Mammoth scandal: American film company in trouble over money paid to Jose Chameleone for ‘Queen of Katwe’ soundtrack

Queen of Katwe, Hollywood film which featured Lupita Nyong’o, has been hit by a major controversy after it emerged that the film company that produced it wrongly paid Jose Chameleone for the soundtrack used in the movie.

Tanzanian producer and CEO of Bongo Records, P Funk Majani, has sued Walt Disney Pictures for breach of intellectual property. Funk claims Disney used his soundtrack without his knowledge for their 2015 movie, Queen of Katwe.

Walt Disney paid Jose Chameleone to use beats of his song ‘Bomboclat’ in Queen of Katwe; but apparently Chameleone stole the beats from P Funk who was the original composer. The Tanzanian producer says the beats were originally used in the hit track ‘Nikusaidiaje’ which was sang by Professor Jay and Ferooz.

In an audio uploaded on YouTube by Bongo5, P Funk revealed Jose Chameleone had been playing cat and mouse game with him ever since he first approached him over theft of his beats several years ago.

Funk says Chameleone had agreed to pay him 2000 dollars when he first confronted him for using his beats without consent, but the Ugandan singer never kept his word.

He approached the ‘Valu Valu’ singer again when he found out that Disney had paid him for using the soundtrack in Queen of Katwe. But then again Chameleone played him for a fool forcing him to sue Disney instead.

The Tanzanian producer disclosed that he had spent a lot of money paying lawyers in the US to sue Walt Disney who have since agreed to settle the matter out of court.
