Reprieve for Citizen TV anchor! Jacque Maribe’s lost nephew Kelson Kimani rescued by Flying Squad

Jacque Maribe’s nephew had been missing for four days and the kidnappers were demanding a whopping Kes 2.2 million for his safe return.

Kelson Kimani wambugu was abducted from his parent’s house in Thika by kidnappers who demanded 2.2 million to release the boy.

Jacque Maribe and Dennis Itumbi sounded the alarm about Kelson’s disappearance as they pleaded with the public to help them find the boy.

Flying Squad sprang into action to rescue Kelson as his parents and relatives were still struggling to raise the ransom demanded by the kidnapers.

Kiambu police commander Adial Nyange said the Kelson was being held in Ruaka in Kiambaa constituency but on the suspects knowing they were being trailed they decided to transfer the boy to Mwiki, Kasarani where they were intercepted by Flying Squad.

Five suspects have been arrested including three women and two men while two others are still at large even though they have been identified.

“God did it for our family! The joy baba and mama Kelson had, I don’t think words can ever describe! We’re grateful my nephew is safe and sound #KelsonFound,” Jacque Maribe wrote after her nephew was found.
