Drama at Tononoka grounds Mombasa as Moha is booed and hit with water bottles…this is what he wanted to do to Raila

The much anticipated ODM rally in Tononoka grounds, Mombasa yesterday, March 26th 2017 ended prematurely as Moha and Saedo crashed terribly.

As you are aware, the surest way to win an election in an ODM stronghold is to do one thing and one thing only, get Raila Odinga to endorse you.

Moha formerly of Jicho Pevu and now vying for the Nyali parliamentary seat knows this all too well so yesterday in the midst of thousands of people, he tried to compel baba to do just that.

When he was given a chance to speak, he attempted to take the microphone to Baba where he wanted him to stand up and endorse him as the right candidate but that plan terribly failed.

His opponent, Mr. Saeed Salim alias Saedo was two steps ahead of him as he stopped him midway and attempted to grab the microphone from him. And he had the support of his loyalists who were equally angered by Moha’s conniving actions and thus started booing and throwing water bottles at him turning the whole rally in total disarray.

Baba just sat there in total disbelief and with no intention whatsoever to endorse or campaign for anyone- which I think should be the case.

On seeing things were getting out of hand, Joho, the Mombasa governor had to choice but to bring the rally to a close.

“Basi sasa tunamaliza mkutano wetu hapa. Kwisha sasa, Wacha watu waende nyumbani” He said as he led Raila Odinga down the podium.

Zero chills! Mohammed Ali savagely attacks Hassan Joho’s brother… calls him ‘toy boy’ (Photos)

Former KTN investigative journalist Mohammed Ali seems to be getting along well in the dirty game called politics, he recently took a swipe at Hassan Joho’s brother.

Mohammed Ali started campaigning in Nyali in December 2015 when he was seen conducting door to door campaigns in Kadzandani, Kongowea and at the bunge la wazee, to sell his agenda.

Ali seemed to have a head start over other aspirants such as Hassan Joho’s brother Said Abdalla Saido who is also seeking ODM ticket to vie for Nyali parliamentary seat.

Hassan Joho and his brother Said Abdalla Saido

Ali and Saido are the top dogs in the race to clinch ODM nomination for Nyali parliamentary seat. The two hopefuls are intensively campaigning in Nyali ahead of ODM primaries.

Said Abdalla Saido stands next to Hassan Joho during the recent homecoming rally for the Mombasa governor

Ali recently attacked Saido whom he called ‘toy boy’; he claimed his opponent was misleading young men and women in Nyali constituency.

“Mapenzi majani huota popote. Kongowea is done and dusted. To the little pressure groups hanging around a toy boy you can’t stop an idea whose time has come. We are coming to reform you, give you good education, employment to save you from being used as slaves in Nyali Constituency. Being a brother to the Governor doesn’t give you the right to mislead young men and women. My message to you all is that we should not give up and we should not allow the problem to defeat us. If you want to know a good leader.

  1. Smallness of means
  2. Greatness of purpose but astounding results.

Msikubali akili ndogo kutawala akili kubwa. Asante Kongowea, Mungu awabariki.

#JichoLaSimba.” Mohammed Ali wrote.

Boniface Mwangi and Mohammed Ali make Kenyans skeptical as they go against political traditions in their quest to be MPs

Rights Activist Boniface Mwangi and former KTN journalist Mohammed Ali want to join the August House, the latter is vying for Nyali parliamentary seat while the former seeks to unseat Maina Kamanda in Starehe constituency.

Both Ali and Boniface have gone against the political tradition in Kenya to ask money from the electorates to fund their campaigns instead of dishing out money to voters like what most politicians do when elections are around the corner.

“My name is Boniface Mwangi and I am vying for MP Starehe. I want to serve you & to make Starehe a better constituency. I’m calling on you to donate whatever amount you can to support me in my campaign. Without you I cannot make it. Let’s make this a reality.

Pamoja tustareheshe Starehe!

MPESA PAYBILL: 652451

DIRECT MPESA/WAVE: 0792 788 638

While the practice of asking money from the electorate is common in Western world, Kenyans seem to be very skeptical about it. The reactions online after Boniface asked Kenyans to donate towards his political cause tell it all:

Dennis Phineas: Why the fuck do you want contribution? This is your personal endeavour and neither is it an emergency… Sit your ass down and work towards that. Am sorry to say;you’re not an activist but a selfish power hungry Kenyan out to gain mercies in the name of activism

Anto Tonniey D: Can you really run for a mp with donations and you are sure you gonna win forget it brother do you think you can pull maina kamanda down this is a waste of money i cant donate for this bonny am sorry my friend

Kibrah Mwanawa Mwareri: in a third world country obama style wont work better apply for a bank loan n fund your campaigns

Irenes Concierge: The website should also accounts of how every cent was used. Set the pace for accountability. All the very best!

Ras Baba Yao: U are very funny instead of giving us something to eat u want us to give u go away

Käråñjä Múîgåî Mãrtîñ: How can i send you money, what will I get in return

Robert Koome Muthaura: Biggest scum ever………

Peter Mwaura PM: What happened to your foreign sponsors, you failed to overthrow the government and they dissed you? And the book, didn’t you fetch enough from it?

ODM is a rich party, acha kuwaaibisha kuombaomba

Luke Exact: However good a record past and promised future it doesn’t make financial sense contributing to such a cause. Noooooo. Whichever way you look at it!

5 startling things that Mohammed Ali revealed after he quit KTN

The revered investigative journalist quit his job at KTN on Valentine’s Day to focus on clinching Nyali parliamentary seat come August 8th.

Also read: “Open threats, money and lust for fame…” Mohammed Ali explains the REAL reason that made him resign from KTN on Valentine’s Day

In the course of his campaign, Mohammed Ali revealed a lot of startling things that were not in the public domain before.

He disclosed personal information about him and what he plans to do in parliament if he will be elected Nyali MP in the forth coming general election.

Below are the 5 things Mohammed Ali disclosed:

1. Ali revealed he was raised in the biggest slum. The biggest slum in Kenya is Kibera.

2. Ali disclosed that unemployment in Kenya forced him to seek greener pastures in Saudi Arabia where he worked at a coffee shop for three years.

3. Ali said he’s working hard for the betterment of Kenya so that his struggles will not be the struggles of his two beautiful daughters.

4. Ali admitted he couldn’t bring change with his exposés because he claims journalism has been overrun by powerful cartels. He said open threats, money and a lust for fame in some quarters had replaced journalism.

5. Ali vowed to bring change in parliament; he said he would work for the cause of justice from within Parliament

“I will not whisper. If you, the voter, lets me, I will shout and work for the cause of justice from within Parliament, the house from which justice fled. I know now that true change for our country can only come from a change in how our politics is managed. If we want our country to change, we must be willing to change it ourselves. I am offering myself to be that change agent,” Ali wrote in part.

“Open threats, money and lust for fame…” Mohammed Ali explains the REAL reason that made him resign from KTN on Valentine’s Day

The former KTN investigative journalist quit his job at KTN to focus on his campaign to be the next MP for Nyali constituency.

Ali’s candidacy has caused a stir as he asked Kenyans to contribute towards his campaign contrary to the tradition in Kenya were politicians dish out cash to the electorates.

Also read: “I stood up for you for over a decade, now I ask you to stand with me” Mohammed Ali officially asks Kenyans to send him contributions for his campaign

But what really motivated Mohammed Ali to quit journalism and seek a career in the dirty game otherwise known as politics?

Ali says he has spent a decade exposing injustice in Kenya in hope that his story would bring change to the oppressed.

“I have spent more than a decade in a fulfilling career as an investigative journalist. Many of you know me not by my name, but by the name of the program that I pioneered, “Jicho Pevu”. Through this program, we have held a light to the ugly side of Kenya, highlighting injustice wherever it occurred, be it through the corruption that brought billions of shillings of cocaine to the shores of our Republic, or the greed that saw people sell the babies of the poor to desperate, barren parents. I have never shrunk from the cause of investigative journalism, and through “Jicho Pevu”, many across the country know that my objectives have been sincere, and for the greater good of a country that I love so much,” Ali wrote in part.

He says his decade long fight against injustice using a pen and a microphone hasn’t yielded any fruit. Ali explained that the government’s open threat to the media made his work difficult.

He further revealed that open threats, money and a lust for fame in some quarters had replaced journalism. The former KTN reporter said media has been over-run by cartels – the reason why he had to quit KTN on Valentine’s Day and start his campaign to fight for injustice within parliament.

“My fellow Kenyans, I have written and talked and investigated, yet the same impunity that I saw on that hot afternoon threatens us still. We live in a time of unparalleled corruption, masked by the largesse of our leaders. We live side by side with ill-gotten wealth of “tenderpreneurs”, who we know have stolen our taxes, but who walk Scott free. In Mombasa, the scourge of drugs is wasting a generation of young men, many of whom I know personally. Yet the purveyors of their poison sit not in jail, but in the comfort of their homes. I have reported on all of these ills, yet I cannot change them. I cannot change them because the profession I love is now over-run by these same cartels. Open threats, money and a lust for fame in some quarters has replaced journalism. The government’s open threats to the media are out for all to see; they create institutions to deny the media revenue. This is why today; I can no longer remain a journalist. My conscience will not allow it.”

“My conscience also doesn’t allow me to give up on Kenya. I cannot and will not. I want to keep on fighting, for this country that I love so dearly. That is why I resigned from my post at KTN on Valentine’s Day, to recommit my love for Kenya, and stand as a parliamentary candidate for the Nyali constituency seat in this year’s general election.”

Mohammed Ali and his union with Jicho Pevu to face death and this is the “person” responsible

The person responsible is our adored friend called politics.

As you are aware, Mohammed Ali is ready to take the next stint of his life and that is politics.

It was always a rumour until 1st March When Mohammed Ali made it official himself when he posted this on his social media:

I AM IN THE RACE: #KenyansForMohaJichoPevu

1st March 2017. Today I officially declare that I am in the race to be the next Member of Parliament for Nyali Constituency. I have stood up for you for over a decade, and used my voice to amplify yours. Now, I ask you to stand with me. Inside the National Assembly, there is a quote that says “For the just government of men.” Yet Justice has fled from that once honourable house. Help me take Justice to their doorstep. Whatever you can contribute will go a long way to helping me on this journey. You can send your cash donations to MPESA PAYBILL NUMBER: 652464. ACCOUNT IS YOUR NATIONAL ID NUMBER OR CELLPHONE NUMBER. You can also deposit your contributions KCB TOWN BRANCH, MOMBASA, ACCOUNT NUMBER 1203272731. ACCOUNT NAME: MOHAMED ALI. Thank you Kenya!

Now his long-time colleague and friend Mate Habib might have unknowingly revealed that his time was up at KTN and Jicho Pevu was up when he made this post on Facebook before he could do it officially. Here is the post:

And here at Ghafla we wish him well in his new endeavours.

This is why he will be silenced soon! Mohammed Ali reveals the REAL reason why KDF went in Somalia to fight Al Shabaab contrary to popular belief terrorists were attacking Kenya

The KTN investigative journalist has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to withdraw KDF from Somalia as he revealed they were dying for a cause that has nothing to do with the interests of Kenya.

Mohammed Ali wrote a letter to President Uhuru asking him to withdraw Kenyan soldiers from Somalia; he asked the commander in chief to take his children and those of his cabinet and top military commanders to the war ravaged country if indeed he had the interests of Kenyans at heart.

The KTN journalist revealed KDF only went to Somalia to fight Al Shabaab because of a British widow, Judith Tebbutt, who was kidnapped in Lamu in 2011. Most Kenyans still believe KDF invasion of Somalia was because of a series of attacks the terror group carried out within Kenyan soil.

Judith Tebbutt and David Tebbutt
Judith Tebbutt with her husband, David Tebbutt who was shot dead before she was kidnapped in Lamu in 2011

“Naomba uwaregeshe wanajeshi wetu nyumbani.

KTN’s Mohammed Ali reveals how 2017 presidential election will be rigged… How Foreign Affairs CS will play a vital role

Mohammed Ali says only a handful of people working for the government will decide who becomes president after 2017 election.

KTN investigative journalist, Mohammed Ali, has once again ruffled the government’s feathers; he has warned of plans to rig 2017 elections.

In a lengthy post on Facebook, Ali says Uhuru Kenyatta’s government has shown signs of not conceding defeat, and was already laying plans to rig the election.

KTN's Mohammed Ali uncovers plans to rig 2017 election

Ali says the government was purchasing lorries for the police instead of paying doctors or lowering the cost of living.  He claims the lorries will be used to chase Kenyans like rabbits when they pour out in the streets to contest election results.

The KTN journalist further claims the approved changes to the Elections Laws (Amendment) Act 2016, which allows manual transmission of election results, was pushed by the government so that dead Kenyans can vote in 2017 presidential elections.

Ali also uncovered why the government was doing everything within its power to have Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary, Amina Mohamed, to be the next chairperson of the African Union Commission.

He says that the government wants Amina Mohamed to be AU chair so that when 2017 election is rigged she can be used to block the voices of Kenyans at AU; just like Kibaki’s government did with former AU chair Jean Ping when they rigged 2007 elections.

Below is what Mohammed Ali wrote:

MUTAHI NGUNYI

Huyu ndiye kikwazo kikubwa cha demokrasia Kenya. Yeye ndiye aliyezalisha jina la Tyranny of Numbers.

CHAGUZI DIJITALI

Jitayarisheni maana wafu watapiga kura.

JOSEPH NKAISSERY

Wewe umejifanya Mike Tyson wataka kupiga kila kuta ngumi.
