This is What Happened Immediately After Museveni Was Sworn in

Club hopping from Mirembe Bar to 4 Turkeys, there was a lady who was heavenly blessed with a derriere that would bring Vera Sidika to shame! She kneeled proudly on a car bonnet to shake what her mama gave her. I was in awe! The car boomed with “Sembela”, and boy, did she make them clap! Dancing unperturbed to the audience she gathered around the parking lot. When the song came to a halt, she slid down the bonnet and strutted her way to Miremba Bar like nothing was a miss. All the dudes followed her like bees to pollen.

My pals and I continued with my suggested journey to 4 Turkeys, there’s something with me and sticking to one club, I just can’t, I HAVE to club hop.  Plus any discussion of Uganda nightlife inevitably makes Entebbe the main focus. With its vast selection of clubs and pubs, there was no way my weekend was ending in one club.

I gathered we were late in arriving from the gaggle of people outside on the roadside tables, after squeezing and flirting our way in, we finally got sits. Amid the cool lights and hip music and aside from the packed crazy number of party goers, 4 Turkeys was dope for a pub! The deejay knew his way on the decks, it has a great bar with some tasty cocktails and a big enough dance floor that lets you show your dancing skills. And gents, you will fall in love with this club, Ugandan mammies are generously blessed with tush… trust me, I’m a chic, and I could notice this. “In heaven there is no beer…” Ugandans took that young man’s lyrics to heart!! The amount of people we saw on Entebbe streets that night alone firmly proves WHO Global Status Report on Alcohol in Uganda.

We partied till the Sunday sun rose in all its glory, I was tired to the bone from dancing but had a huge grin from the many dudes I had shamelessly flirted with! This could be the closest I’d ever be to ‘Vegas’, so anything goes.

We had no time to sleep; we had a plane to catch. Hailed a taxi, sped back to the hotel and we were on our way to the Entebbe International Airport to catch a http://www.fastjet.com/ke/en/ plane. We had a stopover at Dar Es Salaam before getting to Nairobi. Our trip back is still hazy…was high the whole way through, so can hardly remember the details. I just remember the air flight was pocket friendly- Ksh 13,090 on way from Dar Es Salaam to Entebbe.

With these amazing prices, http://www.fastjet.com/ke/en/ is my new found friend!
