WHY THE HATE?
——————————————
Many times we see artists not connecting with each other. There are so many reasons to this, some artists have valid reasons if we can judge some.. some we cant judge and some we will never know why

DOES HATE WORK?
———————————————
There was a time music was based so much on hatred amongst artists. The songs we danced to were mostly beef ? songs. This worked for some artists and made the industry vibrant. The standoff between Bebecool and Bobi Wine, Radio and weasel vs Chameleon plus so many more.

We remember songs like Mr Katala, Kasepiki, Ability, Kanywamusaayi, By Far, Cocidiosis these and many more i guess you recall. This music ruled the industry and event promoters created shows coined as Battles. Fans became supporters, The industry was like a battle field but like what happens all things come to an end. These artists reconciled and the industry moved away from this point.

IS HATE A STRATEGY TO PROMOTE MUSIC?
———————————————-
After a while we saw young artists start to create beef against the big dawgs of the industry so that media could talk about them and also to win the favor of fans. unfortunately the strategy never worked for them as the Top artists refused to answer back but as well the audiences and fans had learnt to separate music from words spoken against each other. In brief beef stopped pushing music and Beef songs became more and more unpopular.

THE CURRENT STANDOFF STARTING FROM BEBE COOLs LIST.
—————————————-
When i see all what’s happening to the industry that was so united by the end of December 2017 i ask myself the following questions.

1) If award ceremonies didn’t disunite the industry how can a list off an artist page get you guys dissing each other.
2) Should we bother with peoples opinions? As public figures and artists you know fans have opinions about you. Should their opinions matter?

Unless there deeper feelings involved in all this. I think the list is something we could all ignore and move on. Opinions will always come in from every angle but should we always be there to analyze and answer back? I think we should be busy with work and taking this industry further. We have alot to do as an industry seriously alot. We have to challenge the Nigerians, Kenyans, Tanzanians and the South African music markets. Lets get back to work work work please.

NOW THE FANS!
——————————————
Recently i hosted queen sheebah and a fan called in live onthe BEAT and abused Sheebah something that i found very unnecessary. Like i said above you have your opinion right? But help me answer these questions

1)If u dont like an artist do u need to abuse him or her?
2) what does an artist bum, nose, mouth have to do with what they sing unless u have a more personal reason to you hating them.
3) Do u have to go ahead call in on a Tv or radio station and abuse them? What satisfaction do u derive after?

Nwai like Bobiwine once said “Ebibuzo bingi ,Answer Ntono” Too many questions very few answers. So ill chill here wait for some reasonable answers.

2018 LETS SPREAD LOVE NOT HATE.

Fire doesnt Put out Fire!

Love surpasses all!
