Feed The Streets Foundation Partners to Construct Home for People with Albinism

Grace Nakimeera is leading a team for a good cause. The Feed The Streets Foundation has come together with many partners to construct a brand new house for people with albinism. Grace posted;

In a few weeks’ time, this beautiful baby and 27 other housemates will be housed a in newly constructed modern facility thanks to Feed the Streets Foundation’s Build a Home Campaign.

Thanks to GOD, we have through your support and our partners been able to raise substantial funding to see this home come to life. As you may see in the photos, a huge team is on ground day and night to see this huge dream come true.

The house they are living in

This is the story of the little light skinned baby whose mother passed on when she was 6 months old, She’s currently being taken care of by 3 of her great grandmothers, all aged 76+

THE CAMPAIGN

Feed the Streets Foundation is currently undergoing a coordinated campaign to increase the housing supply in Uganda. This campaign is called Build a Home.
The Build a Home campaign advocates for increased housing production. Setting a target of 50 new homes in Uganda in the next five years (by 2023).

Build a Home campaign is Sustainable, supportive housing model organised by Feed the Streets foundation, for poor and homeless people. Working to end homelessness in Uganda through compassion.
