Joe Kigozi Resigns as CEO of BBS Television

First, there were reports that the CEO of BBS TV, Joe Kigozi was fired over internal differences. Apparently, the sacking came into notice after his employed complained that they had not been paid for about two months. There was an audit taking place to assess whether there had been a situation of mis-appropriation of funds.

In June this year however, Joe confirmed to us that he was never fired. He has taken a three weeks leave and was to return in the following month.He was at a holiday in Edmonton, Canada. A letter also circulated that explained the reason for his absence.In the letter also, he assigned Jonathan Muyingo, the Chief Finance officer to take over. There were however still silent rumors that the CEO was sent on forced leave.

News coming in just hours back is that Joe Kigozi is leaving the station for good.Contrary to the rumors however, it is being said that he handed in his resignation letter and he is said to be returning to NBS television, Kigozi had previously been at NBS, for five years, till 2015 when he resigned from his position as Marketing manager and 4-4-2 presenter to take up a job at BBS Terafanyi.

Bigeye Uganda also confirms that he is now back at NBS to take up a bigger position as the second in command. He is said to be the chief of strategy.Good luck to you Joe Kigozi.
