Mayhem in Kampala as boda boda 2010 leaders are arrested

The arrest of leaders of Boda boda 2010 yesterday caused chaos as boda boda riders claim to have suffered in silence for long. The arrested allegedly beat, tortured and stole from riders and other motor owners.

The jubilating riders raided and set ablaze various offices of the Boda boda 2010 group. The destroyed offices include; Bukesa and Natete offices.

However, heavy deployments of anti-riot police and military police is currently going on in areas that accommodate the offices like in Makindye and Wakaliga.

The security forces have gone on to arrest riders suspected to be involved in the burning and also their boda bodas have been confiscated.
