Pastor Martin Ssempa resurfaces after American Embassy places 142m bounty on him

Makerere Community Church pastor, Martin Ssempa is back in town. Not long ago, the outspoken pastor was being hunted by the American Court as a principal witness in a lawsuit against Pastor Scoot, who was accused of crimes against Humanity by a group of Ugandans.

The pastor has been known for his disdain of same-sex marriages and relationships a move that caused him a lot of controversy. Even with his wife being American, he was denied entry into the country for this reason.

Ssempa went into hiding prompting the American court to place a bounty of 142M for any information about his whereabouts. Nothing came out of it.

Last week on Saturday, Pr. Ssempa re-surfaced at MUK flanked by his wife and two children. He was there to celebrate two decades of Makerere’s Prime Time which he started to entertain Makerere students in a godly way.
