Pastor Wilson bugembe apologizes for featuring on Tuliyambala engule

Since the release of Bobi wine’s “Tuliyambala engule”, there has been alot of controversy surrounding the song and the message.

It’s pastor Wilson bugembe however that’s feeling the heat. Church leaders and fellow pastors have criticized Bugembe’s decision to be part of the song as disrespectful to the church and God.

While appearing for an interview on NTV, Pastor Wison Bugembe expressed his regrets of being part of the song and attributed this move to the little knowledge of what the song was about.

Some pastors like Pastor Male have on the other hand applauded the song and the artists saying this is a great move of taking on politics in the country.

This is how intimidated religious leaders are. What happened to religious leaders like Janan Luwum who stood up against dictatorship even if it meant losing their own lives. Today’s religious leaders are more after their survival than anything else. I assume Bugembe is an adult who was not coerced to participate in the song. For fear of losing his livelihood I think, he is apologizing. Cry, the beloved country
