Socialite Brian white released on 10m bail
Image: Socialite Bryan WhiteMakindye Chief Magistrate Erias Kakooza has released socialite Brian White and Corporal Thomas Okot on a 10m cash bail.
The two appeared before the Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court on December 21st 2017 and were charged with attempted murder of Victor Bitwire, White’s neighbor in Buziga, Kampala.
The case
Court heard that on December 13th, 32 year old Kirumira alongside Corporal Okot, 28 attempted to kill Bitwire by shooting.
The victim who has since been discharged from the hospital after spending at least a week in the ICU.
It is alleged, that on the fateful night, while at Kirumira’s gate in Munyonyo-Buziga, the gentlemen got into an argument after White accused Bitwire of following him around.
Several people who had tasted White’s money, including comedian Mariachi and struggling singer Big Eye were at to show support to a man that has on several occasions been seen sharing money with them.
Other artistes like struggling singer DJ micheal of “Muko muko” fame made praise songs for him hoping for some of his money when he leaves.
They return to court on 30th Jan for mention of case.
