Triplets Ghetto Kids remember their fallen members Alex

In November 2015, Uganda was filled with grief as Alex Ssempijja, the pioneer of the TGK was involved in a bicycle accident which led to his death.

As one of the pioneer members of the dancing group,  his absence is surely felt.

The ghetto kids have invited the general public to a memorial service to celebrate his life as they remember him.

The mass will be held on 30th November 2018 at Makulungo Church Kibibi and thereafter they will visit Alex’s final resting place.

Ghetto Kids Official Page Authenticated By Facebook.

There are some things that matter a lot especially when your main profession is to entertain, and share your talent far and wide. It is time to celebrate with the Triplets Ghetto Kids as their Facebook Page has been authenticated. The team has devoted their entire energy, putting aside their age, to create a large fan base, and get as many people as possible, worldwide, to enjoy what they offer on the table.

The blue tick that is inserted by Facebook, at the side of the name, indicates the originality of the page. This authentication usually accrues to people with a large following or subscriber base, and our Ghetto Kids have reached this status. It helps the fans, subscribers and journalists keep up with updates from the celebrity/ Public Figure.

“It is great pleasure that we announce that Facebook has finally verified our official Facebook Page, Triplets Ghetto Kids with a Blue Tick Verification Badge”, They posted on their wall.

The Ghetto Kids have over the past few months climbed to the peak of fame, after featuring in a video by French Montana. They were also invited to perform at the BET awards together with the artist. Congratulations Ghetto Kids. You will reach the peak of success.

Triplets Ghetto Kids are Africa’s Best Dancers

All African Music Awards (AFRIMA) was held in Nigeria this week. Although majority of the winners where from West Africa, we also got an award of our own. Something to celebrate about.

The Ghetto kids on their way

Earlier this week, we were represented among millions of the greatest African musicians, artistes, producers, and dancers. They put our name on the map once again. The Triplets Ghetto Kids.

When they received the awards

This has really been a big year for the Triplets Ghetto Kids, and like I told you, it looks like they are not stopping. They are on their way to that bright future. They have just gotten an AFRIMA Award for “Best African Dancers”. They posted on their face book;

“All our beloved friends and family. Congratulations to you all for the dedication you have shown, by always getting practically involved and this time you have made it possible for us your favorite African dance group to be the 2017 AFRIMA “Best African Dancers.” We could never do this without you our well-wishers.

On twitter, they also thanked their beloved fans;

We would like to thank God, Our fans that voted & @afrimma for the honor of being named #BestAfricanDancer2017. Words can’t explain.

Congratulations

They also shared a clip of the time they were announced as winners, on their page. These children are evidence that no situation is permanent, and of the lengths of the earth to which talent can take you. They have also still stayed in school, and will continuously be a role model for many of the Children in Uganda who want to give up now.

“Unforgettable” hits 1 Billion Streams.

There is indeed something magical about having these people feature in your video. This goes to all music artistes far and wide, grab the opportunity before it is too late. First, they appear in “Sitya Loss” by Eddy Kenzo and he manages to grab a BET viewer’s choice award in 2015

The Unforgettable team

The Ghetto kids have shared their luck again. Unforgettable by French Montana, featuring Swae Lee, plus the Ghetto kids has officially reached 1 billion streams from various countries all over the world. This is a major achievement for the musician. He indeed chose the right title for the song because this has been a very unforgettable experience, both for him and for the young stars.

The song making it big in charts

This does not come as a full surprise because the song has been high up on different charts ever since it was released earlier this year. It gave French Montana his first hit on the top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.  It also became his first No 1 song on the Hot rap songs chart. The video also has about 410 million views on You tube.

He posted on his twitter four days ago;

400 MILLION to the first video I ever directed !! I wanna say thank you to all the wavy people out there that still appreciate art & creativity.

The Ghetto Kids also performed alongside the music artistes on the recently held BET awards and represented the country the best way ever. Congratulations to you French Montana, and thumbs up to you Ghetto Kids. You have a bright future ahead of you.

#Unforgettable.

Ghetto Kids Represent again

It has been a great year for the Ghetto Kids, and God is not yet done with them. From representing Uganda Internationally on the BET stage and in French Montana’s Video, “Unforgettable” that scored him his first No 1 on Hot Rap Songs chart as of August 2017. This Saturday, the Uganda Entertainment Awards went down, and it certainly recognized all the hard work and efforts of the Ghetto kids.

They managed to scoop an award for Best Dance Group in a category that included Roz Viccy Cathy,
Trojans Dance Group, IDU, Kings 256 and Platinum Dance Crew. Clearly, these children have a bright future, and are untouchable. What is even more adorable is their humility.  The Triplets Ghetto Kids sent a brief Facebook shoutout to all of their fans and those that voted.

Congratulations to you and thank you for lifting the Uganda flag far and wide, we love you.
