With new artistes entering the business every new year, fans are always comparing newer artistes to the more seasoned ones.
Irene Ntale has expressed her disgust after being compared to Lydia Jasmine interms of vocals and hit making.
“I hate comparisons. I don’t know why Ugandan musicians like to compare one artiste with another yet what we bring on the table is different. I worked with Sheebah to put a stop to the comparisons,” Ntale exclaimed.

Other artistes who have been put against each other are sheebah and Cindy compared to newer entrants like Vinka who are also doing dancehall music.

Irene Ntale has kicked off 2019 with her newest release “Guluma” a jazzy love song that expresses how a lover misses their partner while they are away.
This song has been caught in some controversy as upcoming artiste known as Ganja Nana has come out to claim that he owns rights to the song.
The artist claims the song which he says was written by Ray Signature was sold to him years ago and he released it in last November. Ntale has not come out comment on the claims but the song credits indicate Jules sentore who also features on the song as the writer.
While Pastor Wilson Bugembe bows to pressure from fellow pastors and coming out to say how embarrassed and regretful to have sang with Bobi wine on the “tuliyambala engule” Irene Ntale on other hand says it is the highlight of her career.
Ntale says the song gave her a voice to express the issues affecting people especially women in the country and she that she is very grateful for the opportunity.
“It was a great honour for me to be asked to feature on this song. I am glad I sang some of the issues affecting women in my country and creating awareness. The first step to solving a problem is identifying it. Thanks to Bobi Wine plus other amazing artistes for bringing these issues to light. I am glad to say this is the best part of my career,” Natale said.

In her first concert since leaving Swangz Avenue, Irene Ntale was out to impress. And she did just that. Serena Hotel was parked to the bream and then she unchained the music, hit by hit.

Yesterday, the internet was painted with rumours of songstress Irene Ntale being involved in a nasty accident in Nankulabye, a Kampala Suburb, but she has come out to clear the air.
Our snoops have learnt that Irene Ntale is still alive and she has not been involved in any accident. The picture that was circulating on social media was a hoax. This was justified when she took to one of her social media platforms and posted, “Good morning my lovely fans, I am alive, well and rehearsing for to give you the best live experience come July 6th and please do not believe these accident rumors doing rounds online”.
Well, this has come at a time when the “Stamina Daddy” hitmaker is climaxing preparations for her concert dubbed “Ntale Unchained” at Serena Hotel on June 6th. Was it a concert promotion stunt? We are yet to find out but many Ugandan artistes are known for pulling weird stunts to attract crowds to their shows. Some of these include; Jose Chameleone, Grace Nakimera, Ziza Bafana, Mathias Walukaga among many others.
A few days ago, we revealed that singer Irene Ntale is going to work with Muyenga based music label, Swangz Avenue again after falling out with the label in 2017.
Swangz is going to be holding regional tours as they celebrate 10 years in the game. Ntale is one of the several musicians featuring on the tour bus, a reflection that she has decided to put her differences aside to celebrate with her former bosses.
Talking about her, the label’s boss, Julius Kyazze said, “Ntale is our biggest product and we’re proud of her.”
Julius says it was a hard blow when she left, but what’s more important is that their values and systems remained intact.
In 2017, singer Irene Ntale fell out with her former bosses at Swangz Avenue. She embarked on a solo career which has been growing day by day.
She has now managed to scoop a collabo with Ghanian star, Mr. Eazi.
We have exclusively learnt that she has been in Kenya to shoot the video for the anticipated collabo. The video was shot by Kenyan videographer, J Blessing.
Speaking to Irene Ntale, she said, “I expect this to be a mega tune since I am working with one of Africa’s best stars. The audio and visuals will be out soon and I can assure you, howwe will get them first. Just watch the space,” she concluded.
Meanwhile, the singer is getting set for her maiden concert dubbed “Irene Ntale Unchained” without Swangz Avenue management.
Earlier this week, there were reports from different sources that Vinka and Winnie Nwagi were having a catfight.
According to the sources, Nwagi was not happy with the way Swangz Avenue was pushing the newbie’s career and paying less attention to her. When we spoke to Vinka about her claims,she said she had no idea what people were talking about.
“If i am fighting with Winnie, i will be the last person to know because i dont see that happening anytime soon” she said
Swangz avanue boss Juius Kyazze said it was no news adding that such things were expected and once ignored, they come to pass.
Last year Irene Ntale left Swangz Avenueafter working with them for most of her career sighting similar differences. Vinka her former manager had started her singing career and she felt under valued.
She is curently a solo artist with Sandra Ntale, her sister, as her Manager.
Ever since Irene Ntale Left Swangz Avenue, she has been proving and surprising critics. With her new manager Sandra Ntale, who is also her younger sister, the singer has managed to release blockbuster hits.

Like a loyal Soldier, Irene requested the crowd to light up their smartphones in memory of the late Mowzey Radio, a fellow musician. It was at this point when she graced the crowd with one of the late’s hits, “Neera” The fans sang along to the tune with the singer, to respect the talent the country lost.

Some of the celebrities in Uganda have decided to do something to protect wildlife. Musicians, Irene Ntale and Maurice Kirya, plus Kansiime Anne, Uganda’s popular comedian have joined the “poaching steals from us” awareness campaign.

According to various sources, this awareness action is to educate the public about the importance of different animals in the country, that are victim to poachers.
The campaign was launched by Uganda Wildlife Authority, Uganda Conservation Foundation and Wildlife Aid Uganda. These chosen celebrities are to take part in different short adverts and documentaries that communicate and explain to the public, the cultural and economic importance of preserving wildlife.

In addition to this, the campaign wants to eradicate bush meat poaching and illegal killing of the already few species of animals that we have in the country today.
“Ugandans are rightly extremely concerned that their natural and cultural heritage is being threatened by poachers and the illegal trade in wildlife,” said Michael Keigwin, the founder of Uganda Conservation Foundation.
In addition to this, the Executive director of Uganda Wildlife Authority, Andrew Segura also explained that they were responsible for looking for new innovative ways to promote conservation of wildlife in Uganda today.

Irene Ntale is a Ugandan born musician and guitarist known for many of her songs such as, Nkubukinze, go down na-na-na, Gyobera, Sembera and enticing collabos with some of Uganda’s most celebrated artists like BebeCool, Jose Chameleon and Good life. She has also recently gone independent, and held a massive concert in 2016 called, “date night” at Sheraton Hotel Gardens Kampala that had a very high turn up, participation and success.
Just about two months ago, Irene Ntale released a video for her song, kyoolowoza, and she is at it again; back to giving her fans top quality. Without Swangs Avenue by her side, the artist is still lit, and she is showing you just that. News is coming in that Big Nash was the producer of the song and the video is being directed by Grate Make Films, which is currently handling most of her projects.
