Sylvia Owori has hit again. This time, she is turning the recently held Kyarenga Concert by Bobi Wine, into a political phenomenon. At the concert, the singer changed from his Red People power suit, into a mustard-gold one, for the night part of the show. Vary many critiques, opposition members, and fans have come out to point that the said color, depicts the NRM government.

Bobi Wine Announces new Date and Venue for Kyarenga Concert

Having played cat and mouse with the police and management of Namboole National Stadium, the future of the Kyarenga Concert was unknown by many. The singer has announced to his fans, a new date and venue for the event, giving a ray of hop, where it had not existed.

The concert will be held at Bobi’s beach, One Love Beach, Busaabala, on the 10th of November. The entrance will be only 10,000 Uganda shillings, thus making it open to all that are willing to attend.

Bobi Wine’s concert has been blocked from Namboole, because the location had been booked for various other events, including a match.

 

Bobi Wine advises Fans not to Boycott Uganda Cranes Match

Despite the various exchange of letters between different bodies, the singer, and the management of Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, the fate of the Kyarenga concert is still unknown. Bobi Wine and his team, have been turned down by the sports stadium, in a letter that explained that they needed to leave the area ready for a Uganda Cranes match, set for the 17th of next month. This prompted many fans to make up their minds to boycott the soccer game.

Bobi shows he is good leader

Bobi Wine however, continues to show how good a leader he is.

“Friends, I don’t agree with the trending hashtag #boycottugandacranes. Uganda Cranes is our national team in which we should always take pride and support with all our abilities.” he posted.

He shared with the fans that it will not be meaningful to take another talent down, f the musical talent is being suffocated.

“Our national team is the mirror of the best and the worst in us as a nation so all they need is Love and understanding, not condemnation. We are all Uganda Cranes and Uganda Cranes is us.”
