Sheebah “Bored” with fans who complain about her dresscode

Early last week, Sheebah posted a video of her performing in Mbale but instead of praise, fans bashed her for her dresscode. In the video, she wore a jumpsuit with a see through lace cover up in true Sheebah fashion.

Sheebah giving her fans some of the best entertainment this year

And the fans didn’t skip a beatti respond;

“Respect urself sheebah. Music doesn’t mean exposure of nakedness my dear. Take a good example from Remah Namakula.” A fan commented.

Madam enough of ur nakedness. Pliz am jst advising. Anyway nice song but act like a mother. Am jst 15yrs old and what do u expect ur future generations to be like. Keep us privacy for ur husband or lover.

Sheebah bashed the comments by saying she is bored by people and their opinions since they don’t feed her. She added that they should go home and take a nap.

There we however some who came to her rescue saying performers should dress like performers just like other professionals.

Irene Ntale bitter as Fans compare female musicians

With new artistes entering the business every new year, fans are always comparing newer artistes to the more seasoned ones.

Irene Ntale has expressed her disgust after being compared to Lydia Jasmine interms of vocals and hit making.

“I hate comparisons. I don’t know why Ugandan musicians like to compare one artiste with another yet what we bring on the table is different. I worked with Sheebah to put a stop to the comparisons,” Ntale exclaimed.

Sheebah Karungi and Irene Ntale made a song together title “Otubatisa”

Other artistes who have been put against each other are sheebah and Cindy compared to newer entrants like Vinka who are also doing dancehall music.

Do you think Ntale is justified in her complaints?

Sheebah heaps praise on her manager Jeff Kiiwa

Sheebah Karungi has spoken of how she and manager Jeff Kiiwa met and started to work together. After the success of ice cream and twesana, she was alone and frightened until Jeff picked interest and worked with her.

She says before him, no one believed in her and her dream of becoming the top female Artist she is now. Jeff also seems to have magic as all the artists he manages turn to gold including Radio and weasel.

She wore her heart on her sleeve this morning as she thanked him on instagram  for all he has done for her.

Sheeba showers Jeff with praise.

She is currently in Abu Dhabi with her team for some shows in the UAE.

Sheebah Unfazed by Critics of her Omwooyo Concert

Sheebah Karungi’s live performance was met with disappointing reviews from fans and media as they continue slamming her live performance at her recently concluded Omwooyo concert.

Even fellow performer Cindy Sanyu had this to say, “Sheebah is like a lotion that’s advertised to cure all skin problems but after buying it, you realise it can’t work,” Cindy explained.

Many of her fans were overhead saying, “she sounds better on CD. She should concentrate on that. She can’t sing live”.

Sheebah however remains unfazed saying she believes she killed it at the show. She posted on her instagram:

The Woman I Was Yesterday Introduced Me To The Woman I Am Today Which Makes Me Very Excited About The Woman I Will Become Tomorrow. CANT STOP. WON’T STOP. NO MATTER WHAT.

For all the haters out there Sheebah cannot easily be shaken.

Who wore it Better? Sheebah Vs Cindy

Camouflage, or better still, what we call army wear is all over bringing a war around the world. Cindy and Sheebah have both hooked up jackets, and we are yet to find out who wore it better.

Sheebah Karungi
Sheebah Queen

Queen Sheeba gave the gangster look an upside down crown Bandanna. The hooded Jacket and a pair of shorts. The color perfectly matched her skin and we are loving the glow.

Cindy
Sanyu

Cinderella topped it up with an old school Missy Elliot look. We guess she is the King.  We are loving the make up.

Sheebah to headline “wakanda” singleton Golf party

Singer Sheebah Karungi is set to perform as golfers and guests wind up after what is expected to be a grueling round of golf at the Singleton Golf Challenge semi -final on Saturday at Entebbe Golf Club.

The “Beera Nanage” singers will be the star attraction of the night as attention shifts from the course to the Singleton hub, with the audience paying allegiances to the ‘Wakanda’ theme at the 19th hole experience. As the last round curtailed, Sheebah was announced as the guest artist for the semis and the crowd`s rapturous reaction said it all.

Sheebah`s reputation of owning stages with her  electric performances has given her super star status and the Entebbe Golf Club members can expect a memorable act.

`Wakanda’ being a fictional Sub-Saharan African nation appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, calls for the night`s crowd to embrace the African side of their wardrobes with the best dressed individuals are guaranteed walking away with Singleton goodies.

The `Wakanda’ themed party will  climax  the action filled night  giving the July finalists reason to sip away the night, not forgetting the day`s losers who can also find comfort in an ecstatic night as Sheebah does her thing.  Fresh from her `Mummy Yo’ video launch, the queen will bless the golf gathering with a chance of being among the few to witness the new track being performed.

Sheebah Premiers “Mummy Yo” video at guvnor Sponsored by Ciroc

The latest is that earlier this week, premium vodka brand Ciroc joined Africell as the other sponsor for Sheebah Mummy Yo video premiere slated for this Saturday at Club Guvnor.

Sources close to the Star told us the Beera Nange singer’s partnership with Ciroc involves footing production and drinks costs for her Saturday event.

The source told us Ciroc will give Sheebah about 20 bottles of its premium vodka to enjoy with her fans on Saturday, and further disclosed that Ciroc was investing in the region of Shs25m.

Going by snippets released in the trailer, the Mummy Yo video which was shot by Sasha Vybz seems to have a touch of vintage, with lots of colour on a street scene of people rushing through a drizzle. According to the source, Ciroc has also promised to set off on a long partnership with Sheebah. Tax to the Mummy Yo video premiere is Shs30,000 and doors open at 9pm.

Sheebah’s Videos are Pornographic- Porn Committee

Annette Kezaabu, who is the head of the Pornography Control Committee has described some of Sheebah Karungi’s music as pornographic in nature. She says they contain sexual innuendos that corrupt people’s minds.

Kezaabu, whose mission is to wipe out pornography, says she can work with Sheebah to fight porn.

“I can collaborate with her but she needs to tone down her videos,”Kezaabu revealed in a recent interview.

She also says although she must fight music like Sheebah’s, there are more urgent things to deal with for now.

Sheebah Rumoured to be feasting on New Rapper “Recho Ray”

Sheebah Karungi was spotted at the just concluded Zzina beach Carnival at Lido in Entebbe tightmarking a female rapper Recho Ray. She kept whispering sweet stuff into her ears and kept a close eye on her while back stage as the two waited to perform.

A close mole from TNS headquarters informed us that Sheebah has been uncomfortable ever since Nina Roz exited the group.

“She has been trying to get close to Fille but Mc Kats is an obstacle,” a source alleged.

On Thursday, Sheebah shared a picture which she captioned with praises, “Bawala Tukuba @rechorey #YoungFemaleRapper!

In the past, female rapper Keko accused Sheebah of using her. The two publically exchanged bitter words. Keko is currently a citizen of Canada where she pronounced that she is gay.

Sheebah Karungi claims she doesn’t know who father Lokodo is

Singer Sheebah Karungi loves revealing clothes, which at most times leave little to imagination.

Most of her songs, also contain sexual innuendos, for example; “Farmer” and “Akusse”. She is not just a self proclaimed Swag mama but also a nude mama.

There was a not-so-old rumour that the Minister of Ethics and Integrity, Fr. Simon Lokodo, together with the Pornography committee was threatening to drag her to jail.

During the Zzina Fest at Lido beach on Sunday, Sheebah was asked by a Journalist whether she has met with Father Lokodo, but she plainly said she doesn’t know him. Hmmmm, Sheebah!

Sheebah and Chameleone set the same concert date

Singer Sheebah Karungi’s concert on the same date as legendary singer, Dr Jose Chameleone. Team No sleep (TNS) manager, Jeff Kiwanuka is a man of controversy.

Chameleone announced first that he would hold his annual concert on 30th of November at Lugogo, Cricket oval. And now, it turns out that Sheebah’s ‘Bera Nange’ concert will be at Kyadondo rugby grounds a few meters from Cricket Oval.

Sheebah’s concert will be organized by Kavuuma commonly known as KT promotions while Chameleone will be handled by the usual suspect, Balaam events and promotions.
In 2016,  Dancehall singer Roden Y from TNS held a concert on the same date with former ally Pallaso at Nyondo Pub and Freedom city respectively.

Last year, we witnessed history repeating its self as they went head to head again on 8th December.Pallaso was at Kyadondo while Roden Y at Lafatz lounge.

Sheebah and Pallaso finally end their Beef

Sometimes we cannot help but believe the theory that beef in the Music industry is only a strategy. Sheebah did a song attacking her former Team No Sleep patners Pallaso and weasel.

Rumot is now making rounds the Weasel has been in contact with Sheebah’s manager Jeff Kiiwa trying to get him to manage his music career. Now the latest we have heard is that instead of hitting back at her for the Houseboy song, Pallaso approached her for a song together and the swagg mama did not shy away from the idea.

Pallaso has a new song out called Namutima whose airplay has not been as he expected so he is hoping that having Sheebah on the remix with do some magic. The two have in the past done very well together on Go down low and Mundongo.

With Jeff Kiiwa’s blessing we can say the two are now back on talking terms.

Sheebah Snubs Artistes that Follow Bryan White As “Houseboys”

TNS singer Sheebah Karungi is set to release her latest song titled ‘Houseboy’ anytime soon. But after a listen-in to the new song, we can reliably envisage a resurrection of beef between Sheebah and some artistes as well as a possibility of new beef with other artistes.

In the song, Sheebah clearly refers to ‘houseboys of the podium!’ The word podium got traction and got attached to moneybags Bryan White after he appeared in a video humiliatingly commanding singer Weasel ‘never to leave the podium when he is still talking!’

Weasel, Big Eye join Bryan White on the ‘podium’ at a recent Bryan White Foundation function

Since then, the word podium has been widely used to refer to Bryan White and artistes or celebrities that have made it a job to hang around him. Some of the artistes on the podium include Weasel, DJ Michael, Pallaso, and now prodigal son to the podium- Jose Chameleone.

Weasel and Bryan White

And by referring to these singers as ‘houseboys of the podium,’ Sheebah should have envisaged she would be opening a can of worms. A few people that listened to the song, have predicted that it’s likely to resurrect of the beef between Sheebah and former ally turned enemy- Pallaso. There’s also a belief that the song is likely to rub other singers on the podium including Chameleone and Weasel the wrong way.

Sheebah was the biggest winner of the night despite not appearing at the ceremony.

Her “Karma Album” scooped the Album Of The Year,  “Binkolera”, a collabo with The Ben from Rwanda took best  the International collabo, Female artiste of the year and she was also the overall winner, Artiste of the year.

Fik Fameica, Nessim,  Navio, Late Mowzey Radio, Selector Jay were among the other winners.

The highlight of the night was when singer Mary Bata  was announced as the winner of the Best Band song beating Carol Nantongo and Eddy Yawe whose “Tukigaale”  hit rocked airwaves after becoming a household anthem. This attracted criticism from both media and the fans.

They were overheard complaining that she didn’t deserve the award.
