Swangz Avenue in panic mode to organize Nwagi concert, rejected by event organizers

Since mid last year news has revealed that Winnie Nwagi has put pressure on her label swangz avenue to make her a concert or she leaves. Bosses have now gone into panic mode trying to sell the concert to event organizers and promoters to no avail.

Word on the grapevine is that KT promoters boss denied their offer  advising them to go ahead and stage their artiste a concert since they are also events organizers.

The question now is, Is Swangz Avenue trying to rush themselves of Nwagi or do they not think she is a lucrative as their new catch Vinka?

Outside Studio Used by Kanye West Available for Hire in 2019

We already know that our one and only Swangz Avenue was chosen to work with international rapper and award winning artist, Kanye West, to record his latest album. The singer was in the country with his wife, and socialite, Kim Kardashian, and the two camped at Chobe Safari Lodge. It is here that the music production group worked together with Kanye to set up an outside music studio, a large white dome.

Various videos of the singer, recording a view parts of his songs, in the studio, took over social media. Well, Swangz has announced that this special outside studio is up for use by the public.

Swangz Avenue Contracted By Kanye West

Watch the space. Some Music Production Companies in Uganda are past the mark. Swangs Avenue, our very own, has been contracted by American rapper. The audio and film production house  have not said much about this partnership, but the evidence has already flooded our media houses.

The production house was made by singer, Benon Mugumya, and has done some justice for popular srtists like Aziz Azion, Iryn Namubiru, and GNL Zamba. Many artists were also signed on the label, at the time when they were still upcoming, like Irene Ntale.

The evidence is pouring in

According to Softpower news, a member of Swangz shared the news with them.

I can’t tell you much. But it is true that he is in the country and yes, we are working,” said Julius Kyazze, the Swangz Avenue big man. “…..that’s all I can say. Sorry I can’t say much”.

Swangz Avenue Bosses beg Winnie Nwagi to stay with the Label

There has been word on the street that Winnie Nwagi could quit Swangz Avenue, a label she has been signed to since her ascent to fame.

 

It is claimed that the label is not giving her career a deserved promotion. She has however always said in interviews that she is happy with the label.

 

With her contract ending in a month, speculations over her future have been in overdrive. Many say she will not sign to extend her stay.

 

The label big shots have also gone ahead put some juicy offers on her table, including organising her maiden concert come next year.

Singer Winnie Nwagi has two months to decide whether to stay at Swangz Avenue or embark on a solo career. According to a source, her contract is almost expiring.

Rumours have been suggesting that she is unhappy under the label.

When Ntale left, it was thought that they would concentrate on promoting her, but that is not the case. Swangz is instead pushing Vinka as their lead artiste.

Although Nwagi and Vinka portray a healthy relationship through their social media platforms, insiders say they are not really friends.

Tarrus Riley not coming Uganda

In December last year, Ugandans were delighted after it was announced that legendary singer, Tarrus Riley, was set to perform at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Unfortunately, the joy and smile dried up on their faces after the organizers,   Red fog events company later confirmed that the Jamaican superstar would not turn up following a series of disputes .

This year, Swangz Avenue promised Ugandans that they would fly in Tarrus Riley on the 31st of August as they celebrate 10 years of service in the entertainment industry.

In a previous exclusive interview we had with Benon Mugumbya, Director Swangz Avenue,  he informed us that this is a local celebration and an international artiste would join them at the grand finale at Cricket Oval, Lugogo.

However, Tarrus Riley has came out to publish his official tour guide and surprisingly, Uganda is not on the list.

We tried to reach out to Swangz Avenue for a comment but our efforts were futile.

Is Winnie Nwagi finally leaving Swangz Avenue

Singer Winnie Nwagi quitting her record label, Swangz Avenue, has been the talk of the town for quite some time now but she has always denied the rumour.

The “Musawo” hitmaker is in her final days at the Muyenga based Record Label.

Reliable sources say Winnie Nwagi is not happy with the attention her bosses are giving to work mate, Vinka, who is rising to fame very fast, a reason she has of recent abandoned Swangz Avenue events.

Winnie Nwagi failed to appear at the just concluded Buzz Teeniez Awards organised by Buzz Events, a sister company to Swangz Avenue over the weekend just days after she had arrived late during the launch of “Swangz All-Star Tour Concert” at the Square, Industrial area.

However, Winnie’s bosses claim that everything is ok with the singer.

It is remembered that Irene Ntale’s exit from Swangz Avenue also started after she felt neglected by her bosses.

Now Winnie Nwagi is in the exact same spot.
