Vinka overwhelmed by support from Juba fans

She captioned the photo: “They made it rain on me. It’s not the amount that matters but the love from my Juba fans. #soldout — in Juba, Sudan.”

Much as many of her fans were happy for her success there were the party poopers who had to remind her that the money was of no value given the state of the south Sudan economy.

“Maximum in UGX is 235,000. 1 dollar is equivalent to 260 ssp /South Sudan pounds. Never the less her fans expressed love the economy is bleeding, the standard of living in Juba is too high.” event promoter Balaam posted.

To which she responded that what matters is the love they showed her.

Vinka has really found her calling the music business and it’s really making her the star she dreamed off. Being booked out every weekend, she found herself infront of a passionate crowd in Kitgum that loves her so much they wanted to keep a piece of her.

She was performing hands grabbed at her jacket wrapped her waist and the cap on her head but she managed to ran off before the got anymore. She thanked the heavens that that they didn’t get her wig or shoes.

The new venture into this style of music makes Vinka even more desirable as she shows her versatility.

Vinka hits Studio with Nigerian star Ketchup to Remix Chips Name ketchup

What makes more sense than remixing the hit song Chips name Ketchup ? Remixing to with an Artist called Ketchup. Funny as the coincidence is,  Chips name ketchup has been one of the biggest songs in Uganda since it was released and has got attention internationally as well.

Well it looks like we are about to dance to the same hit afresh as Nigerian artist, Ketchup jumps onto the remix to give it a more dancehall sound as the Nigerian star is in town working on the new sound.

Ketchup is popularly known for his jam,”Pam Pam” among others.

Vinka Releases new hit song Mapozi

Vinka has yet again dropped a brand new song, “Mapozi” loosely translated as ‘Poses’.

“Mapozi” sounds and rhythms like a typical ‘Vinka’ hit songs that we are  accustomed to. It’s more similar to her single “Omukwano gwo” that has dominated charts.

 

The song was written by Yesse Oman Rafiki and produced by Eli Arkhis.

 

The video is yet to be released but word on street is that the video was directed by Sasha Vybz.

The party goes wild in London as Vinka and the Ebonies fail to perform

As we reported before Vinka marked one year of being an artist at swangz with a trip to London for her very first international performance. But all did not go according to plan.

The revelers who had turned up at the Royal Regency in London could not believe their ears when it was revealed that some of the performers they had come to see was not going to perform.

The ebonies and Vinka were slated to perform but when that bad news was announced by the emcee of the show, bottles started flying.

Villa took to instagram to explain the problem stating that the organizers were very unprofessional there cancelling the show. She will however be performing at another venue.

One of the debates women have had over the years, is whether it is appropriate to show the camel. Just like popping nipples, this is somthing that can turn a man’s thoughts around. In a sexy outfit, Vinka brought the stage down at the Tarrus Riley Concert last week. The chips na ketchup singer did her performance dressed up in a golden super suit, showing her camel toe.

Vinka Kicks Man With Her Shoe at Miss Madi

Vinka is definitely a lady who will not take any insults, more so from drunk men in the crowd. She was honored to be the guest star for the recently concluded “Miss Madi” beauty pageant in Adjumani last weekend. The second edition of the beauty pageant was held at Mayors garden, and the Buzz Teeniez Award Breakthrough Artiste of the Year graced the stage with a sexy white jumpsuit, and did her round of entertainment. Videos have however surfaced, of what seemed like Vinka kicking a man with her shoe.

Definitely some of the men who insult women need this type of  ass kicking. With the tip of her shoe, Vinka, the voice behind Chips na Ketchup stretched and kicked a man who was in the front row of the crowd. You go girl!

Jose Chameleone Endorses Chips Na Ketchup- Vinka

With this never ending beef between Ugandan Musicians, we wonder whether we can create an International brand. Many artists want to grow and succeed on their own, so that they can be called the world’s greatest. However, thanks to Legendary names like Jose Chameleone, we can still know that there is hope. It is through appreciating productions by others, that we can become one. Chameleone, in a recent post endorsed Vinka’s new  song, Chips Na Ketchup.

It is not the first time this major is doing this, as he has praised different artists, including Spice Diana and Mowzey and Radio. To Chameleone, quality deserves credit, and he gives it there and then. He is not right to notice that Chips Na Ketchup was an amazing song. The hit has been topping charts lately and making all of us proud of I am Vinka. Read Chameleone’s post below;

Vinka Shoots Video for Chips Na Ketch up

Vinka is currently the most sought female artist after proving doubters with hits to her name in just a couple of months. Chips n Ketchup is a follow up to her smash hits Malaika, Overdose and recently the well-produced video of Love Doctor.

 

Yesterday evening, the Swangz Avenue star VINKA shot Chips Na Ketch Up Video with director Marvin Musoke of Swangz Film.

 

Chips Na ketchup has enjoyed heavy rotation on radio and in clubs and is currently one the hottest songs in Kampala before it’s video is released.

 

According to the reliable sources from swangz Avenue, the video is expected to be out next week.

No bad Blood between Vinka and Winnie Nwagi

Earlier this week, there were reports from different sources that Vinka and Winnie Nwagi were having a catfight.

According to the sources, Nwagi was not happy with the way Swangz Avenue was pushing the newbie’s career and paying less attention to her. When we spoke to Vinka about her claims,she said she had no idea what people were talking about.

“If i am fighting with Winnie, i will be the last person to know because i dont see that happening anytime soon” she said

Swangz avanue boss Juius Kyazze said it was no news adding that such things were expected and once ignored, they come to pass.

Last year Irene Ntale left Swangz Avenueafter working with them for most of her career sighting similar differences. Vinka her former manager had started her singing career and she felt under valued.

She is curently a solo artist with Sandra Ntale, her sister, as her Manager.

Villa has proved that she is worth the money from power house swangz Avenue.  Since her debut in 2017, she has been beating all the odds with her Malaika and overdose featuring Kent and floss.

The songs have enjoyed massive airplay and still fodder for the spin masters in many bars and clubs around Kampala.

She has released new a new catchy tune dubbed “love doctor” which is the first of her new music for this year.  It is a dance hall but sensational tune.

Most Underrated But Talented Artists in Uganda 2017

With all the Talent overflowing in Uganda, it is not uncommon for some to get lost in the crowd as we mostly want to keep up holding the already famous ones.

Here is a list of the most umderrated artists that can sky rocket if given the chance.

Bruno K

This one has been around for a while but mostly doing covers for famous songs like Neera by Radio and weasel. He was starting to see his fame days but when he started producing original music, all didn’t go well. We know for sure however, that his talent is unmatched.

Beanie Gunter

Beanie Gunter is a dancehall artist with famous song “Tubaayo” under his belt. Listening to this song for the first time, one would hardly believe it is Ugandan. He rocks with an authentic patois accent and music to match. He is undeniably talented and we hope he gets his big break.

Vinka

Vinka is not only hot, but talented too. The purple goddess does a fusion of dancehall and ragga with songs like In the Mood, is is set to be a big star we only await her breakout moment.

Lydia Jazmine

This talented diva became famous when she had a duet with singer Geosteady in “same way” showing off her amazing vocals but after that her music has not been very popular even with Geostead going on to become a singing sensation. What could have gone wrong? We are sure it is not lack of talent.
