Wiz Kid Ayo is in Town. His Social Media accounts are on fire, with welcome messages from different artists, celebrities and fans. The long awaited day since 2016,  is finally here. It is going to be a heated up Thursday night with Wiz Kid in Uganda Today.

He has done songs like Tease me, Holla at your boy, Jaiye Jaiye, Show you the money, On Top of your matter, Joy, Bombay and many others. We do not know the line up he has for us this evening though, but we are always ready for all of his amazing songs.

Wiz Kid, real name; Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun is a talented Nigerian singer and song writer. According to Wikipedia, he became Internationally recognized after the global hit, One Dance, with Drake. Wiz Kid however started recor

ding his music at eleven years old, and has since then showered us with a number of albums.  He was also the 5th on Forbes and Channel O’s list of the Top 10 Richest artists in Africa. So Ugandans, we are receiving somebody big on our soils today.

 

Wiz Kid was surrounded by journalists from allover Kampala, and he too felt the love he was being given. His twitter is also crowded with videos of him on the streets of Kampala City, in the Pearl of Africa.

Ugandans almost suffocated when they were informed  that Wiz Kid has missed his Flight yesterday. Everybody thought this was a repeat of what had previously happened, and they were ready for the most heated up reaction of the year. His show is set for Thursday, and reports that he arrived late at the airport and missed the flight that was to bring him to Uganda From South Africa. The artist will however be here Today.

The loyal Nigerian star kept his fans relaxed, when he kept updating them on his twitter page. He wanted everyone to know that the show is still on, and he is on his way to the country.

Thursday Night with Wiz Kid

Following a small disappointment sometime back, Wiz Kid, in an effort to make it up to his fans, organized a concert in Uganda, this Thursday 7th December. The tickets have been on sale, the stage has been prepared and his crew jetted in early this week.  The event is to take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval, and we all know it will be lit. Entrance is 30,000 shillings ordinary and 100,000 VIP like we already know. The show will start at 4.00pm. Various Ugandan artistes and DJs will also performing alongside one of Nigeria’s finest artists.

We know the date, the time and place. The artist has confirmed, all we are left with now, is to attend.

There was bad blood developing between Nigerian artiste, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka Wiz Kid and Ugandans after what he did last year. The date and venue for his concert had already been set, and hundreds of tickets sold out in is name.

His show was to take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala on December, 2016, but this however did not happen.

Just a few days to this much anticipated event, he sent his regrets to the country, saying he was unable to fly from Los Angeles where he was at that time. There was heartbreak and emotional trauma all over, that Face TV controlled by issuing a statement on the situation. They also promised to keep in touch with the artiste and arrange for another day of the concert.

Well, well, there is good news. On the 2^nd October, Wiz Kid wrote on his twitter handle;

Making it back to everywhere I missed. Even if I have to make it happen from my own pocket! Will make it up to all my fans.

That’s not all from the juicy news, he also posted December 7^th as his date with Uganda.

 

I believe this is even better, because the Ojulegba singer has released countless songs this year that will even excite the crowd more and more, watching him perform. Some of these include; Daddy Yo, Tease me, The matter, Ghetto youth and Naughty Ride. It is just a month away to December, and he might even release another huge hit in just this shot time.
