VIDEO: Linda Nyangweso, You Need Jesus

At 24, she released her first single which has blazed through the charts debuting at number 7 on the Kiss Countdown Chart and peaking at number 6. With the release of the video for You Need Jesus, the song aims to go even higher.

thatchickLynda was born in Kenya but moved to Canada while she was in Standard 4. In Ottawa, Lynda continued singing in church but took it more seriously in high school. Lynda was accepted into the Canterbury Arts High school vocal program and concentrated on visual arts. She currently works as a radio presenter.

The video was directed by Chris Sang and track produced by Zenith Productions. Released on the 1st of November, the video shows how thatchicLynda busts her boyfriend and kicks him out of their home. With the music having that old Motown feel, a vintage touch to the video was necessary and executed. Check out thatchickLynda and Steve Urban’s You Need Jesus below.
