5 Bizarre Club-Related Deaths That Shocked the Whole Country. One Was Absolutely Horrendous (Photos)

When one hits the club, you expect to relax, party hard or even get lucky.

But unfortunately some people never make it out the club alive and today we look at some bizarre club deaths that rocked the nation.

1. George Thuo’s Death at Porkies

On November 17, 2013 George Thuo a former Juja MP and chief whip checked into a popular Thika club called Porkies to hang out with friends and watch a Formula One race on television.

Later in the night George complained of ‘excess heat’ before collapsing shortly afterwards and getting rushed to the Thika Nursing Home.

He passed away later and 6 people including his friends were put on trial for his murder after it was revealed that his drink had been poisoned with a highly toxic chemical.

2. John Wanjohi

In September 2015, John Wanjohi was partying with a friend at a popular joint on Thika Road called Maxland in Mountain Mall.

CCTV footage shows the man leaving the premises, walking down the stairs before stopping at the edge of the staircase, looking down, and then falling tragically to his death…4 floors down.

 

 John who was 29 years old was buried in his father’s home in Iriaini village in Othaya, Nyeri County. He left behind a 25 year old widow and a 4 year old son.

 

3.John Mbugua’s death at Maxland

 In June this year, John Mbugua and his friends decided to hold a birthday party at the same Maxland Bar and Lounge as he turned 30 but Unfortunately this ended up being his last day on earth as he got poisoned.

“They had spent the whole night at the bar, taking alcohol to celebrate his birthday. His friends say he was fine all through but at around 6 am, he began vomiting and the management called officers at the nearby Thome Police Post.” A lawyer looking into his unexpected death revealed.

Unfortunately, Mbugua did not survive and the post mortem results revealed that he was poisoned, leading to the arrests of two women sitting next to him who had the suspicious substance believed to have caused John’s death in their bags.

4.Hannah Mageri’s Death

Hannah Mageri a teen from Kiambaa, Kiambu County allegedly died after a night of partying with her friends at Club LXIX (69) in Ruaka in April this year.

Hannah was said to have passed away after smoking Sheesha laced with drugs at the popular club but CCTV footage of the night she partied at the said club proved otherwise.From the footage, Hannah did not smoke Shisha and left the club in the company of her two friends before going to spend the night at a guy’s place.

Her cousin who is a regular patron at the club said that Hannah was later taken to her home by the same guy she spent the night with, complaining of stomach pain.

 She was rushed to the local Mũcatha Clinic before being taken to Tigoni Hospital where she succumbed.

Blood tests conducted on the young girl revealed that the Sheesha could have had drugs in it.

5. John Barnabas Mchanga Stabs 2 People To Death Before Getting Stoned To Death

The loss of 30,000 Kshs proved too much for John Barnabas Mchanga, a Tanzanian, who went on a rampage and killed a Casino’s manager and a guard using a Somali Dagger at the City View Bar and Restaurant Casino in Eastleigh.

Mchanga is said to have gone to Winfred Mbuvis’ (the manager) office to demand free play or a refund following his loss. When she refused to comply, he killed her then attacked the security manager James Lutea who had come to intervene, killing him too.

Mchanga then attacked another guard who had come to save Winfred and James and stabbed him in the neck.

He then got out of the Casino and hid behind some cars before an angry mob stoned him to death between the Main 10th Street and 2nd Avenue.
