Abduba Dida: It’s time to use religion to fight corruption in Kenya

Abduba Dida says he will use religion in the fight against corruption that has been facing the country.
Dida says just like in 2013, he will once again take a stab at the presidency and rid the country of all graft cases should he .
 He said Kenya had lost the war on corruption because leaders do not believe in God.

He challenged the Jubilee Government led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto to seek divine intervention if they are to win the fight against corruption.
Dida said he is the best placed leader to end corruption in the country and it was disheartening to see money meant to benefit all Kenyans being stolen by a few highly connected individuals.
Dida emerged fifth in the 2013 presidential election and garnered an impressive 52,848 votes only coming behind President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Peter Kenneth.
He surprisingly beat other seasoned leaders like Martha Karua, James Ole Kiyapi and lawyer Paul Muite who were also on the ballot paper.
Dida, a trained teacher by profession, has taught English Literature and Religion at Lenana School before he joined politics in 2013.
 
He was well known for his wit and funny but serious ideologies in the run up to the 2013 presidential elections.
Perhaps his most famous quote was when he advised Kenyans on his preventive medicine ideology that if they wanted to be healthy, they should only eat when they were hungry.
He is also remembered for the presidential debate in 2013 where he gave experienced politicians including opposition leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta, a run for their money.
