After the Closure of Nation FM and QTV, Now Your Favourite Entertainment TV Network Also Contemplating Shutting Down

Last month nation media group scaled down its broadcasting services in a move that saw a big number of job cuts and the closure of Nation FM and QTV respectively.

Now TV Cosmopolitan which was the new entertainment network, which filled thousands of screens around Nairobi with targeted news and entertainment content seems to be following suit. The station has seen the explosion of entertainment content expanding beyond the screens in our living rooms and on our mobile devices.

We have gotten information that TVC is being taken off line in what looks like a move because of the hashtag #TVCRelaunch which has been doing rounds on social media for the past few weeks. We don’t yet know if this is just a stunt, or TVC is changing channels, or going off the air entirely so just keep it Ghafla for more on the low down.
