Amazing New Radio Station Set to Hit the Airwaves Very Soon

Barely a week after launching its tabloid in the Kenyan market, the youngest but the most vibrant record label, Candy n Candy is throwing its hat in the digital radio ring. The label will launch its own curated radio station on a user-generated streaming radio platform that specializes in music and news.

Dubbed Candy Vibes, the radio station will be available for free on its site and will seek to blend the two (music & news) while retaining his distinct worldview. The station itself will of course feature tracks from its extensive discography. In addition to showcasing artists signed to Candy n Candy, it will also play music from artists that have made a huge impact in the region.

“We offer the ability to create and run a fully functional radio station from any web-enabled device and we are targeting the ever rising smartphone users,” explains Joe Kariuki, the CEO of Candy n Candy in telephone interview.

This isn’t the only recent example of Candy n Candy testing out new channels. Late last week, the label launched a new magazine and is currently finalizing on its first ever movie starring Baby Madaha.

The station will broadcast from 26 Sherman Gardens, Chadwell Heath Romford Essex RM6 4AX United Kingdom and will not be limited to East Africans, but includes the international community.

“An Internet-based radio station was chosen over a mainstream radio station because of the results of the effectiveness, influence and listenership of Internet-based radio stations throughout the world,” reveals Joe.
