Apart From Dancing To Sura Yako, This Is The Other Thing Obama Did To Sauti Sol

Sauti Sol got a boost of its career when its members were invited to State House to entertain the most powerful man on earth, Barack Obama, when he visited the country for the first time as US President.

Obama was captured dancing to the tune of Sura Yako, one of the best hits the group has ever done. His dancing skills caught the eye of the world, with credits going the boys’ band’s direction.

But if you this is the only thing Obama did to Sauti Sol you are in for yet another shock.

The group has been publicizing their album they are planning to launch very soon. The album is called Live and Die in Africa. It is a highly anticipated album.

And as Kenyans wait patiently for the album, Obama came with the same message: Live and die in Africa.

In one of his very insightful speeches during his visit, Obama encouraged Kenyans to make Kenya a better place. He said one does not have to cross the seas and the oceans to developed foreign nations to make ends meet.

He insisted on making Africa a better place for everyone. Obama’s sentiments resonated quite well with the name of the album the group is planning to release, an album which encourages people to value Africa, make it a better place by working hard.

This has got Sauti Sol, which is already riding high in the continent, highly elated.
