Apart From Emulating His Father’s Victories In Athletics, David Rudisha Also Look Like His Dad, 99% Similarity (Photos)

Twins or father and son? Olympic champion David Rudisha is a ‘photocopy’ of his father. The two look like identical twins born years apart.

There is nothing relaxing than drinking a cold Tusker on a hot Saturday afternoon while watching David Rudisha win 800m race. He makes his wins look so easy as he accelerates towards the finish with his long strides that other athletes find difficult to match.

David Rudisha is a world record holder in men’s 800m, he also boasts of two Olympics gold in 800m which he won in London 2012 and recently in Rio 2016.

Actually Rudisha is just emulating his father’s success; Daniel Rudisha (David Rudisha’s father) won Kenya a silver medal in 1968 Mexico Olympics as part of the Kenya 4 × 400m relay team.

Track events aside, David and Daniel are more so of twins than son and father. This is the likely conclusion you will come up with after looking at Daniel’s old photos when he was about the same age as David.

Similarity between the then Daniel and the current David is 99%; the face, the height and basically every physical attributes between the two Rudishas are the same.

Guess every time Rudisha takes to the track for a race his dad sits at a pub sipping a Tusker and tells his pals “That’s me” while pointing at his son on the screen.
