Bad News Trickle In For Kogello People

 

For the last several months, there is no one who has been holding their breath and fasting like the Kogello people. Since the news of a visit to Kenya by the most powerful man on earth broke out several months ago, Kogelloans in particular have been bracing themselves for the ‘son of the land’ to at least confirm that he will set foot in the Nyanza region where his grandmother lives.

Mixed versions of Obama’s visit have been doing round the country with some reports indicating he will for sure tour Siaya while others deny this assumption.

Well, just a week to the day the leader of the free world sets foot in Kenya as the ever first sitting US President to touch down in the country, the worst news is that Obama will not go to Kogello.

This was said by US President Bob Godec when he appeared on JKL last evening. Godec said that unless Obama himself decides to visit Kogello, there is no likelihood that he will visit his Grandmother Sarah Obama’s home.

Well, Obama is coming as the US President and not as a grandson of the land. So logistics and schedules can’t allow.
