Beautiful Daughter To Senator James Orengo Gets Engaged In A Traditional Wedding Ceremony (Photo)

The beautiful daughter of the Siaya Senator sent a clear message to admirers over the weekend when she publicly got hitched by her long time fiancé.

Lavender Orengo, daughter to James Orengo, got engaged in a colourful traditional ceremony over the weekend in their home in Siaya as guests, mostly politicians, thronged the Senator’s home to wish the two all the best as they plan to marry.

Hannington Muisyo Mutua drove all the way to Siaya to present his dowry to the Orengo family for their daughter. This also marked as their traditional wedding ceremony.

Majority of those who attended the ceremony lauded the two for breaking tribal barriers and asked Kenyans to learn from them as they have shown the way.

Among those who urged Kenyans to encourage intermarriages were Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama, Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo and the bride’s father, Senator James Orengo.

Orengo talked of his daughter, saying that it is a show of unity between the two and urged her and her fiancé to remain close friends forever.
