Blogger Roy Ogolla’s Body Leaves the Morgue for Final Journey (PHOTOS)
The final journey of taking thespian, blogger and activist, Roy Kohadha Ogolla, to his final resting place has begun today. The cottage left Chiromo Mortuary for the Kenya National Theatre (KNT) which acted as the launching pad for his career.
The funeral programme is as follows:
11am: Cottage leaves Chiromo for Kenya National Theatre(KNT)
11am-2pm: Viewing of body and other activities at KNT
2pm: Cottage leaves KNT headed for the church
3:30-5:30pm: Church service at St Stephens Anglican Church, Jogoo road
5:30pm – Cottage leaves Church for Kariobangi South for night vigil
3rd January, 2014
6:00am – All those travelling with the K’ogallo family converge at Jeevanjee Gardens
6:30am – All those travelling meet at Total Mountain view so as to leave in a convoy
4th January, 2014
Burial in Siaya
This morning, fellow Gor Mahia ‘followers’ hit Kshs. 218, 000 in contribution to send off one of their own.
