Camp Getting Mulla!

“Think you can handle us?…”, they keep asking. By the speed these young rappers are moving, I’d say it won’t be easy to. They sure look like they are getting paid.

Camp Mulla has been in the professional music scene for less than two years and they are already causing massive ripples in the Kenyan music industry. Is it just me or do they make other Kenyan rappers seem

like amateurs in this game. One thing’s for sure, these are real hustlers because they know how to get their fans-through club songs.

Their track ‘Fresh all day’ is stuck on my mind it’s kinda starting to annoy me. These guys(Taio and Kass) synchronise each other’s flow so well, and the producer(K’Cous), as young as he is, keeps coming up with this cool funky/urban beats. Not to mention the sweet melodious Karun. Her voice is just the icing on the Mulla cake. What’s even more amazing is that their manager(Mykie Tuchi) is just about the same age as they are.

I was watching the behind the scenes video for the ‘fresh all day’ shoot, and all I could see was maaaad swag. Prezzo apears with his girlfriend, fresh as usual(never realy understood people’s hate for this guy). Everyone else dressed to kill, I just can’t wait to see this video.
