Camp mulla’s hot new releases

Camp Mulla’s K’Cous (Government name Marcus Kibukosya) has released 2 tracks that are the flame! Word is, he produced the tracks himself -which is a no-brainer seeing as he does most of Camp Mulla’s production work. The kicker is that he has stepped from behind the keyboard to inside the booth -spitting and, forgive me for using the term H.A.M, but brother goes H.A.M!
The track “Thirsty” as employed mellow instrumentals that give it a chill-feel (think of the type of music you’d listen to while driving or in a matatu just after getting paid) &samples the late great Notorious BIG’s voice for the hook “Birthdays were the worst days/ Now we sip champagne when we thirsty”.
On the vocals, K’Çous teamed up with an underground British rapper by the name Idris Jones who compliments his style rather well to give you a beast of a track. The lyrical content is generally feel-good material that gives this track it’s cool factor. Those are enough of my thoughts about the track, check it out and see for yourself.

The 2nd track is titled “Beenies on my weenie” which loosely translates from British lingo to “Girls on my -this is a GE site, so the translations gets truncated there-”. The track features Idris Jones once more but with the addition of A.D.E and yeah, the track is a BEAST! The instrumentals are what I now suspect are K’Cous’ signature style of laid back beats and a chopped up sample voice on a loop repeating the title of the track. What gets this writter about the track apart from the sound quality and the vocal harmony in relation to their placement over the instrumentals is that it is a song oozing silent intensity (read cockiness). It’s my recommendation that you listen to the track just before you hit the club as it’s that superhero music! Check it out.
