Candy n Candy Records Lands Lucrative Movie Distribution Deal with the Top Film Distribution Company in EA

Following the production of its first ever movie featuring sexy Tanzanian singer and actress, Baby Madaha, Candy n Candy Records has just entered into a money-spinning contract with East Africa’s leading Swahili movie house for independent premieres and repertory programming.

Steps Entertainment has entered into a deal with the leading record label that will see the latter’s movie, Gal Bladder, distributed in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, DRC, Rwanda and South Africa. According to sources at Candy n Candy, the distribution deal is said to have cost TSh200 million (approx. Ksh 10.8 million).

Steps Entertainment is a registered entertainment company that deals in production and distribution of local movies. The company was established in the year 2007 and has since grown to be among the most renowned and leading production and Distribution Company.

The company has been able to produce and distribute over a million copies of locally made movies to countries like Congo, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda & Comoro.

Gal Bladder was launched at a colourful event in Tanzania late December and it’s Kenyan launch is set for Saturday.
