Citizen TV Screen Siren Bereaved

Citizen TV’s screen siren, Syombua Mwele has been bereaved. The sultry sports anchor has just announced that she has lost her grandfather.

Eulogizing the old man, Syombua said that he was “a pillar of UMAU and will forever remember him because he always referred to her as Mama.”

“This day, I celebrate a well-lived life. A life that was guided by purpose, reason, mission and the fear of God. Good bye my grandfather, the father to my mother Pastor Johnson Mutunga Mutio. You were a pillar UMAU and I’ll forever remember you because you always called me Mama. Umau Thumua Nesa, We are meeting soon in that glorious morning across the river.”

Syombua is also a radio presenter on Musyi FM, a position that earned her a Groove award in 2011.
