Days After Threatening Bi. Msafwari And Maina & King’ang’i With Arrest For ‘Sexual Topics’ , No Nonsense KFCB Boss Puts Kalekye Mumo And Shaffie Weru In The Frying Pan

Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua is not a very popular man nowadays but as we have all gathered, here is not here for the popularity.

He is here to clean up radio and TV as demonstrated by the threats he issued to Bi Msawafari and Maina and King’ang’I for discussing sexual topics before the watershed period.

The watershed period is the time allocated for the broadcast of adult content, usually from 10 P.M when the children are asleep.

Now another Radio Africa team is in trouble with Mutua for demeaning women.

In a post on his personal page, Ezekiel wrote “I am told Kiss 100 in the morning show today had a discussion that demeaned women with wild claims to the effect that “all women are whores.” I didn’t listen but I have asked for the audio clips to verify. Kenyans on twitter are demanding that we take action. We have free and independent media in Kenya but there can be no context that would justify such generalised and demeaning remarks on women.”
