Debunking 5 Misconstrued Myths about Ghafla!
Many a time I come across guys and all is well until I mention I work for Ghafla! Just then do I start receiving cold treatment because of what the Ghafla! brand has been associated with. So today, I would like to take this opportunity to debunk some of the strongly held myths about this wonderful entertainment site.
Myth #1: Ghafla! is about Nudes, Nudes and everything Nude
Yes, when we started out we would publish everything from nudes (even when your cat decided to twerk), malevolent exposes and the like. However, after running the site like mama pima’s kibanda, Baba Ghafla! decided it was time to clean up. Even though #Team Mafisi protested, all the nudes had to go sometime last year.
Right now I can bet with you that you won’t come across any uncovered private part when you log on to www.ghafla.co.ke
We are on the way to becoming the premier fully-fledged online media company.
Myth #2: They will expose you! Run away!
Okay, listen up boys and girls, Ghafla! doesn’t expose anyone/ anything for no apparent reason. You have nothing to fear. People’s private affairs are just that until you decide to leak it, that when Ghafla! dives in.
I’ve encountered guys and once I say am from Ghafla! they’re like, “Oooooh! Nyinyi ndo ile blog mna-exposingi watu!”
Seriously guys, there’s nothing to fear about Ghafla! we’re friendly. Instead of running away from us you should run towards us J
Myth #3 Ghafla! is a one-man-army
I don’t know why guys think Ghafla! is one fat chunky prick who sits behind his computer all day not working or moving his body; doesn’t get any exercise and has never had sex and has an ass for a chin (make it double chins).
FYI, it’s a team of 12 results driven, creative and resourceful individual with excellent skills in journalism, IT and sales & marketing.
Myth #4 Ghafla! solely depends on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram for News
Okay, while social media is one of the biggest sources of information, that IS NOT the alpha and omega of our news wells. Guys, especially writers, conduct research including interviews and attend gigs to land exclusives. These, among other the copious sources for ‘411’.

Myth #5 Ghafla! is funded by socialites
Seriously guys?! Most of the so-called socialites have not set foot at the Ghafla! offices nor know members of the team personally (unless some ‘Judas’ is and they’re not talking).
Anyway, socialite stories are real gold mines, but none of them owns Ghafla! They’re just “clients” – as Chim likes referring to them.Ghafla operates on a demand supply kind of model,we supply what the people want,and the fans more than anything want socialites stories
