Delightful Moipei Quartet Set to Perform at 7000-Seater Church Where Barack & Michelle Obama were Wed

During most national and private corporate events, the Moipei quartet, will always grace and treat Kenyans to soothing music with their angelic voices. Notably, During the inauguration of Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto as president and deputy president respectively, the Moipei Sisters sung the Patriotic song My Land is Kenya originally done by Roger Whittaker.

And now the sisters, Seraphine Moipei (flute), Maggy Moipei (flute), Marta Moipei (trumpet) and Mary Nenkai Moipei (clarinet) are set to perform to the over 7,000 members of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois where US President Barack Obama and the First lady Michelle said their wedding vows as part of their US tour.

When they are performing, the girls are sight-seeing. Over the weekend, the sizzling singing sisters toured Elvis Presley’s home in Graceland, Memphis, TN where they experienced the “the King of Rock and Roll” and one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, first hand.

The Moipei sisters’ US tour was facilitated by African Musical Arts in celebration of 20 years of cultural programming. Some of the major cities they will stop include stops in New York, Memphis, Jonesboro, Dallas, San Antonio, St. Louis, and ending in Chicago.
