Did DJ Mo Instigate DJ Sadic’s Sacking from NTV’s Gospel Show ‘Crossover 101’? We Tell You the Unbiased Truth

The

Last month, we told you that NTV’s Crossover Chart, a Gospel show that aired on Saturdays, was going on a break after a very successful first season. However, it now emerges that there’s more than meets the eye concerning the termination of the show and settlement of only one deejay on the Sunday Show, Crossover 101.

Tuesday, DJ Sadic, former deejay and host on Crossover Chart allegedly reprimanded fellow Gospel deejay, DJ Mo for having a hand in his sacking from any of the NTV shows, which was according to Ghetto Radio blog.

However, DJ Mo denies ever having thoughts of kicking out Sadic from the Sunday show.

“Sina powers za ku-stopisha mtu job”, states Mo adding, “That was the management’s decision that affected the Sato show and saw the Sunday show cut down to only one DJ and a host. That was part of the many in-house changes.”

The ‘topa de top’ deejay further adds, “Hakuna haja ya kuniharibia jina coz NTV wame-make decisions” and challenged us to talk to the producer of the show as to why Allan T and DJ Sadic were discontinued from the show.

Speaking to the show’s producer, Hilda Wellah, she stated emphatically, “These are lies.”

The resourceful producer questioned, “Who is DJ Mo to make decision at NMG or influence how decisions are made?” and added, “Whatever decision the management makes is unanimous and nobody can influence it. We have meetings and decisions are made and that’s final. Even I, as the producer, can’t influence my boss…”

Hilda further reveals that it was up to the management to decide whether or not to renew the contracts of Allan T and DJ Sadic and they deemed fit that DJ Mo and Faith (Muturi) should deejay and host respectively the Crossover 101 show.

In conclusion she says that there was no bad blood between any of the show’s participants and advices whoever started that rumours saying, “If you’re doing Gospel you should have a clean heart because that’s what God prescribes. Gospel is not secular where you have ‘beefs’ to gain mileage.”

According to DJ Sadic however he can’t make head or tail of these rumours. In a statement to Ghafla! Sadic says;

“I don’t know where those stories are coming from they are merely rumours…No one was fired from Crossover. DJs are there on contract and not permanent basis. When the period ends you can choose to renew or not depending on the terms and conditions. As for the Saturday show Crossover chart it took a break. That’s all. There’s no beef between me and Mo. Mo has no power to cancel a show any decisions made or actions taken are by the management.”

Maybe it’s about time to call that truce.
