DJ Wesley Dumps One FM

Celebrity deejay, Wesley Yegon, better known as DJ Wesley is the latest to leave One FM. Wes left earlier in the week for Standard Group as a consultant.

Wes, who has a rich experience in music shows, now takes over as a consultant at KTN’s Baseline music show. His broad appreciation and knowledge of many musical styles and genres, as well as his understanding of music after years of deejaying, provide a solid foundation for producing or consulting on just about any project.

 

 

Asked how much the deal cost to lure him from One FM, the talented ‘spinsmaster’ laughed it off and remained tight-lipped about it. He only said, “Hio ni yangu na hao wasee…”

However, our sources say it is a lucrative contract that will see him stay at Standard Group for ‘a long time’.

His exit comes just two weeks after the urban music station suffered another major blow following the departure of one of its top news anchors, Leah Mutimba.
