Drama!!! Ghetto Radio Bans All R. Kelly Songs

American singer-songwriter and record producer, Robert Sylvester Kelly known professionally as R. Kelly, can keep on talking in the free world, but Kenyan fans of Ghetto Radio won’t be listening to him or any of his hits. The singer whose new twelfth solo studio and sexually graphic album, ‘Black Panties’ is receiving massive airplay globally will be given any airplay by the youth-oriented radio station.

Ghetto Radio argues that say R. Kelly must first clear his name of the allegations of multiple rapes levelled against him. This comes in the wake of Ghetto Radio’s commemoration of The Glass House 2013 Serious Request #SupaDada Edition.

The banning notice on the radio’s site reads:

Every year Ghetto Radio holds its annual serious request with a theme that is community based. This year marked the year of the ladies where we had to give it all to our lovely women.

With that in mind Ghetto Radio banned all the songs by award winning singer R.Kelly who has been accused of getting off with sexual assault of underage teens.

His song will be off rotation till he clears his name.

In 2008, R Kelly was acquitted of a string of child pornography charges. While Kelly has settled multiple cases alleging sexual abuse out of court, Ghetto Radio seems angry that he’s never been criminally charged with anything but making child pornography.
