Education CS pulls an Obama and inspires a whole generation of kenyans,”Yes We Can”,

Following the impressive results posted in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (2016), where for the first time EVER in the Kenyan history there was no cancellation of results due to cheating.
A total of 952,445 pupils sat this for the 2016 examination across the entire country, of which there were only 21 cases of malpractices and attempted cheating reported, according to the Cabinet secretary.
As a result, all candidates would receive their results as there was not a single case of cheating, Record!
 
On top of that, the education CS, with the new able team at Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) restored dignity and integrity to the national examinations which years of corruption, cartels, leakages and  malpractices had pushed the national exams through the gutter and then emptied it at Dandora dump site.

Kenyans saw it fit to accolade, applaud, salute, and congratulate the man responsible of bringing this momentous joy, many men before him had fallen short of.
 
Many nay Sayers had brushed him off, as just another excited clueless government official.
But Education Cabinet secretary, Dr. Fred Matiang’I has set a new record and proven that indeed where there is faith, commitment and determination nothing is impossible.
Kenyans went to social media to congratulate the CS and take pride, lessons and reflections in his achievements, a single man can only inspire so many people!
Away with mediocrity, away with cheap thinking and certainly away with accepting the norm, welcome to the new era of Matiang’I!
young and old, literate and illterate were all impressed.

Others took time to seize the momentous occasion to learn and be wise.
Never again, would we say it is  impossible and submit to cartels and third class thinking.

Matiang’i  found heaps of problems and obstacles at the ministry of education, he did not bury his head under the sand and resort to blame games kenyans have been so used to, he choose instead to rise to the occasion and deliver, maybe  just maybe he has inspired that little ‘Obama,  Michael Jackson, Martin Luther, or Nelson Mandela’ inside every kenyan.
