Emmy Kosgei Enjoys What You Only See in Nigerian Movies (PHOTOS)

Songbird Emmy Kosgei has fully embraced the Nigerian culture have been married to Apostle Anselm Madubukofor 5 months now. It all started by rocking some dazzling Igbo women attire complete with the head gear and now she’s learning about the tradition.

Over Christmas the songstress was in Nigeria where she and her husband paid a courtesy call to one of the most powerful Nigerian kingdoms, Arochukwu Kingdom,which boasts of a traditional ruler (king) as well as rich and diverse culture.

Arochukwu, (pronounced Aruchukwu) is the third largest city in Abia State (after Aba and Umuahia) in southeastern Nigeria and homeland of the Igbo subgroup, Aro people. It is composed of 19 villages with an overall leader called Eze Aro, and the ONLY kingdom named after God.

Some of these things you only get to see in Naija movies and Emmy even admitted, “…I thot I was watching naija movie…!”
