Evil & Conniving Usha of “Mali”, Too, Has Something to Say about the Simmering Gay Debate

For some time, Kenya has been evading the homosexuality debate. However, the topic is fasting heating up after the goings-on in Uganda and Nigeria most recently. Intrinsically, more and more people are voicing their opinions.

This morning, Mkamzee Mwatela who plays Usha Mali on NTV’s drama series, Mali, has given her two cents about the seemingly controversial homosexual debate. However, her approach was as like as chalk and cheese.

Here’s that;

Dear Kenyans:

1) The word Gay, refers to same sex relationships of both genders, i.e, men who love men, and women who love women. One may be gay, but there is no -ism to it, so please, stop saying ‘gayism’, it just makes you sound dumb. You too media people.

2) Homosexual refers to same sex relationships for both genders, the practice of which is Homosexuality.

3) Lesbianism, refers to the sexual relationship between women. If you’re going to discuss the issue, at least sound like you know what you’re saying.

Ok bye.
